My favorite hotel room in Portugal.
The staff was incredibly invested in making my guest experience a good one. The rooms are spotless, beautiful pool, very comfortable beds and complete amenities. This would be a perfect place for a long weekend getaway. Away from the city and crowds. Definitely recommend

The house (it is not a hotel) is located a good forty minutes from Obidos. We found it after three stops -- to ask 1) people in a local bar 2) a man walking on the road that only spoke French (which we speak) and 3) stopping at a Marriott Golf resort. The signage was terrible - we passed by the place as it was not in the GPS (new roads). This a a new resort area - all about being modern - not the character of Portugal - more like California.

Beautiful property!!! This old fortress on a promontory overlooking the ocean was quiet and comfortable...the perfect way for us to begin our honeymoon. We splurged and had the tasting menu at the restaurant, and it exceeded any possible expectation. Highly recommended, and we hope to return on our next trip to Portugal.
