"Really nice hotel near the river in Kyoto. Room was very nice and spacious enough for 3 of us in a room. Modern design and has all the things you'd expect from a hotel room. Check-in/check-out was also easy, and staff are very helpful with any questions/issues like luggage forwarding, reserving something, etc. Has several of shops and restaurants nearby, and close to many locales like Pontocho Alley and Kamo River. About a 6-7 min walk to subway station, and closer for a bus stop. Only gripe would maybe be no coin laundry in the hotel, but there is a good coin laundromat nearby the hotel (2-3 min walk). "

"Located close to train station. Metro and buses are across train station so one has to walk through thousands of people to reach exit (only inconvenience for two senior back packers with sore backs!). Hotel has great amenities and people are wonderful."
