This was our second time staying here and we absolutely enjoyed it more than the first time. Truly an excellent day with friendly service and amazing accommodations.
This place is so nice! I recommend staying here when visiting Orlando! The room is clean and cozy with a comfortable bed. The staff responds quickly and gives clear directions on how to get in the building and into your room. My husband and I will definitely be staying here again.
Such a perfect way of doing a hotel! Having a lock to our room and the ability to come and go whenever we please while still having privacy AND common areas to hang out in was perfect for us!
I booked the connected room for my daughter and myself and it worked out perfectly. Both rooms were super clean and they were connected by an adjoining bathroom. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a tough time with getting in and registered because the process could be easier, but c besides that definitely clean and quiet, slept well
I love this place. It’s not your average hotel. The deco is unique and elegant. The stuff kind and friendly. The place feels like at home. If I come back to Orlando, this is going to be the place I will stay. Highly recommended.
Our stay was absolutely fabulous! I've traveled to many different places and countries and by far this was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at! It was clean, check was easy, and the staff… especially Jaeden was amazing! I highly recommend staying here for vacation or a staycation.
Good value. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, modern design, self check-in and electronic locks. Few things to note: no soap was provided for washing hands (shower gel and shampoo only), room was a bit cold with no opportunity for individual room temp control, and hallway smelled like weed. Based on the price, we would likely book this place again.
Truly a hidden oasis, you would not no it’s there, I loved that it had a lanai and was smoker friendly, it was very well decorated, it was a whole vibe. Def will be returning.
For 100 bucks you can’t beat it . Clean and a place to lay your head . Ac is controlled by management no thermostat in room which was brutal . It’s fine if you can’t pull off a higher end hotel
soooo amazing i loved it so so much he staff were so amazing and friendly i definitely want to come back!!! loves the outside area and the vending machine and everything about it!!!
I wanted to stay somewhere that looked like a cute B&B, based on the photos and description. I am guessing those photos are very, very old.
There is no breakfast. Unless you count prepackaged gas station muffins left in the room. There was also no coffee make in the room. There is a coffee station with coffee pods.
The bar lock on my room door somehow locked after I left. When I returned late that evening, I could not get back in. The adjoining room, which I had also rented, had a key lock, but there was no key available on the property. No one answered calls for assistance. Security eventually got the door open after watching a YouTube video on how to break into hotel rooms, which was not exactly the charming B&B experience I had in mind.
The shower had almost no water pressure. It dripped out like it had an enlarged prostate. I mentioned it to the person working the desk, who said he told maintenance, but nothing was ever done.
The water park and garden space are also not as advertised.
Bed was comfortable, that is only redeeming quality. I say spend the extra $3.99 -$5.00 and get a room at a name-brand hotel. Not on an unlit deadend street in a residential neighborhood.
Sorry, I wanted to give a better review, but there weren't many people staying at the Banana Leaf. I think I was only guest, or 1 of 2 guests. When I rolled up to hotel some people were negotiating with manager to stay there because they've been living in their car. So, nobody else was there but I already had paid for the room on Hotels.com because it looked like the best hotel as close to Orlando Fairgrounds for the Job Fair that I could get. Everything was fine except I thought I was only one staying there. It was too quiet at 1st. So, I drove around city somewhat then came back around 9pm. Then, when I tried to fall asleep at 11:30, it was quiet except for the I-4 Expressway which you couldn't hear unless a big truck or loud car came by. They drove by a lot all night. Also, I guess the other person pulled up to hotel front door which was next to my Room #1 and were talking loudly and it was a long 30–40-minute conversation. I don't know if they were staying at hotel or just looking for a quiet place to talk. I didn't get much sleep (only about 3-4 hours) and while rest of night was quiet enough, I slept in to 9am. It felt weird though and I left around 10am. If they hotel is usually vacant for long periods, that is something I would like to know on Hotels.com prior to booking. The info on Hotels.com is NOT updated. It's just a depository for any hotel with a license. You gave me a discount, but I should've called property days before I booked while there. Do Better.
