" A great one night stay as a family with 2 children. Staff were all helpful and friendly and food was good for both dinner and breakfast. Would stay again and would definitely recommend. "
"Bay Tree is in a quiet location and easy walking distance to Dorchester town. Gary, our host, was excellent, very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was relaxed in a lovely room aroind a table of about 8 settings, perfect to have a morning chat with fellow guests. Nice to chat and get to know new people from different places. The rooms are tastefully furnished and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. Good shower ensuite. Very comfy bed, excellent night's sleep. Quiet house."
"Lovely hospitality and wonderful time spent for a few days to unwind. The hosts were really lovely and ensured a smooth and relaxed stay. Close to touristy activities. Would highly recommend 👌 "

Grand Hotel Swanage
10/10 Excellent
"Really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful setting overlooking Swanage. Lovely gardens. Spa was a real treat. As with everthing not cheap, the drinks could have been priced more competitively, but most hotels have high bar prices for some reason?"
"We loved Purbeck House and were intrigued by its history and glad to see it embraced its history. We stayed in the annexe which met all our needs but if ever the opportunity to return would love to stay in the main hotel. We found all the staff to be very friendly and informative and felt they were fully invested in providing the guests with an enjoyable experience."
"Ideal place to stay only a 5 minute walk to the sea front 20 minute walk to the Pavilion to take in a show and visit the harbour and town. Excellent leisure facilities with good inside pool area especially if a trip to the seaside is rained off. Far enough away from the late night music along the promenade."
"Kingston Country Courtyard is a lovely place to stay in a very convenient location to visit the area around Swanage, Corfe Castle, Wareham and the delightful coast. Although its position is quite remote there is a bus stop right out side with frequent services to Swanage and Wareham.
The offering available for breakfast was very generous and hot food was cooked to order. There is also a restaurant for evening meals. The bed was very comfortable and being in the country, it was a very quiet night. All the staff were very friendly and helpful."
"Perfect location for exploring the SW Coastal path and beaches of a beautiful part of Dorset. Sea view from a modern clean and comfortable room. Steps down to the beach - quiet compared to central Swanage. Easy access onto the downs and coastal path. Excellent breakfast. Really friendly helpful staff."
