Review for the Accommodation in Ossenisse by Hello Zeeland
Our stay in Ossenisse was mostly enjoyable. Communication with the service team via WhatsApp was smooth and friendly. The house is new and modern, with a lovely veranda offering beautiful views of the fields. The open-plan kitchen was well-equipped and pleasant to use. The location is also convenient, with an Aldi just 15 minutes away and a small, child-friendly beach along the canal only 5 minutes away. Inside, the house was mostly clean, though some corners were dusty, and a few dead insects were found on the floor. A positive aspect was the service: they kindly sent a forgotten water bottle back to us in Germany.
However, there are some areas for improvement. The lack of a freezer was disappointing, especially on hot days. The windows were quite dirty, and there were many spiders and cobwebs outside. Insect screens would be helpful, given the house's proximity to a pond. The lawn was not well-maintained, with weeds and nettles making it unsuitable for children to play barefoot. The front door had issues, only locking properly with the key. Lastly, the bathrooms lacked hooks for towels. Despite these points, we had a pleasant stay overall.
