"The room was clean and beautiful. The staff was also very nice. Angela was a great bartender and made sure we had an amazing time everyday. The food at the bar especially burgers, chicken sandwich, oysters, were all really good. Breakfast was amazing. The only downside was we had lost our key late at night. "Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base. Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters. From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat. You’re essentially on the climb the moment you roll out. You can head straight toward Teide or descend as far as you like and build your own climb back up. It gives you total control over your ride profile without dealing with traffic or logistics. Evenings were a standout. The chef is first-rate and the food was consistently excellent, which matters more than people think when you’re training and recovering day after day. Simple, peaceful, and perfectly positioned. I’ll be back next year."

"Schöne Finca, wunderschöner Garten mit mehreren Sitzbereichen und gemütlicher Grillecke und extra Kinderhaus. Gute Ausstattung, insbesondere in der Küche mangelt es an nichts. Durch die Aufteilung in zwei Einheiten auch für zwei Familien geeignet. Von den oberen Terrassen hat man Blick aufs Meer. Sehr guter und schneller Kontakt zur Vermieterin Eva. Danke "

"Diese Unterkunft ist aussergewöhnlich. Das Studio bietet alles, was ein Paar braucht. Für 4 Personen scheint es uns zu klein. Wunderbar ist die freie Benützung der Umgebung des Haupthauses mit Pool, schöner Lounge und den Liegestühlen. Die Unterkunft bietet rundum Sichtschutz. Die Lage auf der Insel ist sehr gut, der Wind ist viel weniger als am Meer. Wir haben in der Umgebung San Miguel erstaunlich gut gegessen. Ein Auto ist zu empfehlen."

"Easily our favourite stay after travelling for months. Not only was the home quiet, peaceful and very well stocked; but Claude was an amazing host. Brought us many eggs and fruit from the land, and made us feel very welcomed. Would stay here again in an instant."

"Just at airport now after 2nd fabulous stay in Finca Vista Bonita. We visited St Miguel for 1 week at end of June/July 2024 and returned this time in 2025 for 3 weeks. This Finca is a great place to to stay if you hire a car to reach it and we really explored Teide, walks, Vilaflor (11km away, beaches, Los Gigantes (south), Guimar, Candelaria (north). We love the Finca's tranquility at night, star watching. Also many thanks to all for informal atmosphere, as team are friendly, helpful. Apartments are spacious and comfortable & well equipped. We were in Appt. Pato downstairs the first time and this time upstairs in Camello-I loved upstairs for stars, astronomy, full moon:) The small pool/jacuzzi is super to cool down & has very pretty view 😍 out over the garden. We would have liked a later pool closure time as often missed it when returning later as went out a lot more for lunches/dinners on this second trip as the excellent restaurant Asador opposite the Finca closed in 2024 (owners retired). The temperature in August has been very high this year so an AC unit would be a welcome addition but we managed with the fan and it is an ecological finca. Great to speak Spanish, French, Italian with staff, guests although Beatrix, Estelle speak excellent English as does the beautiful friendly tabby cat🐈 😻 but we didnt let her in:)! Next year we hope to try the massages,,some holistic exercises as well as explore more of Tenenerife. Muchas gracias, A la proximo, Laura & Craig. "
