Perfect for an important family stay
We were dropping off our son for his first year at Stanford, and so we wanted our last few hectic days together to be perfect. We loved staying here, and hope to do so again when we visit Palo Alto. It is immaculate with very comfy beds and stylish decor. There were places to truly unpack and the bathrooms and kitchen are stocked with everything you would need for a short stay. Tracy was the consummate host: the check-in details and instructions were very clear and she responded to any questions we had quickly and completely. It's in a great location: a converted garage apartment located in a very wealthy neighborhood.

The perfect place for our family!
We really enjoyed staying here. The house was just as it is advertised. It was clean and had good light. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed. The bathroom also had many things available that people might forget and need while traveling. The host was very responsive to my questions at the time of booking and once we arrived. I made a request just prior to checking in that wasn’t part of her normal protocol, but she very kindly accommodated the request. We will absolutely stay here again when we are in the area.

Really well presented property in super neighbourhood. Lovely touches inside so every need catered for. Very comfortable beds/ nice linens and furnishings. Great Location
My husband’s three adult children and grandson stayed in this cottage which is just minutes from our home. The location and convenience worked out to be perfect for a large family gathering at our house. I will definitely book this property again for out of town guests. I thoroughly recommend it because of its accessibility to Menlo Park, Palo Alto and Stanford.

Thanksgiving 2022
We had a wonderful stay here over Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving host lived near by and this property could not have been more perfect. Very clean and everything was easy. Great location to downtown and easy to find. Tracy was a great host. We will definitely stay again.

Location location location
This cottage was the perfect space for our family of 4 (two boys ages 6 and 8). We were able to visit Stanford campus easily, walk to coffee/food down University, and hit the 101 to go to San Jose or San Francisco. The shower is awesome, too, which is always welcome when you’re away from home. A little tricky sharing the driveway with the folks staying in the main house, but everyone was friendly.

Very clean cottage; small but nicely appointed kitchen. Keurig coffee provided was a nice touch. Close to restaurants and shops in downtown Palo Alto and a short drive to Stanford Medical. Quiet and safe upscale neighborhood, perfect location!

The guest is allergic to some unknown elements but blamed me saying that the cottage is dirty and demanded it to be cleaned again at my cost. This demand is totally unreasonable hence I told her she can leave and I'll refund the money for the rest of the stay. The guest chose to stay. Terrible guest with unreasonable demand.

A gem in a quiet yet close in neighborhood
Love staying at Tracy's place. The place is equipped with all you need for a short stay. Very convenient location with proximity to University Avenue and all the shops / restaurants. We loved walking the neighborhood in the cool morning hours. Definitely plan to book again.

Fabulous cottage in Palo Alto
Great location - within walking distance to downtown Palo Alto and the Caltrain station. The cottage was clean and tidy and very modern - all modern appliances, nice bathroom. Small and functional kitchen with various kitchen appliances (instant pot, toaster oven etc). The neighborhood is really quiet, we didn’t hear a sound from the main house or any neighbors. Overall, a great stay.

Better than expected!
This place is excellent! Super clean, modern, and roomy, great neighborhood for walking around, exploring shops, and getting to Stanford. It's a fantastic spot for anything to need to do in Palo Alto. Love the simplicity of the keyless entry, all the amenities in the kitchen, and the super comfy beds. It was everything we wanted and needed. Will be back!

Perfect for our family

The cottage was perfect for our visit! Tracy anticipated almost every need and was easy to get in touch with when necessary. The neighborhood is quiet and it was easy to get to Stanford as well as various shops and restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again.

Wonderful VRBO near downtown Palo Alto
This cottage is roomier than anticipated. Nice small kitchen, well appointed, comfortable beds, two adjustable desks and a bathroom. Lots of storage and the washer and dryer was a real plus. The neighborhood is quiet, charming, and free parking. Highly recommend!

Lovely little cottage
We were staying in the area because of a visit to Stanford Hospital. Needless to say, a stressful visit. The cottage was a haven—quiet, cozy and peaceful. The neighborhood is well located for both downtown Palo Alto and the Stanford campus. I highly recommend it.

This sweet cottage is a hidden gem. So close to absolutely everything and in a very serene setting. Stayed here 3 nights while we moved our freshman into Stanford University and could not be happier with our choice. Tracy was extremely accommodating and very responsive. Very, very nice place to stay!
My husband and I travelled into Palo Alto to come to a family party, this guest house was perfect for us! It would be great for a family with children also. It has an excellent bathroom, and was very quiet and peaceful. Parking was good. We did not spend a lot of time in the apartment, but it was very convenient, super comfortable. Thank you Tracy!

Amazing cottage in a convenient location to Stanford
This cottage was perfect for our family of four! We were in town for a swim meet at Stanford and found it a great place to make a home for 6 night. Super clean and well decorated with a modern feel! Tracy was a wonderful host and the check in was simple and easy. If you are thinking of booking this cottage, do it! You will not be disappointed. Just a lovely experience with the extra touch!

absolutely charming cottage in great neighborhood and location
The cottage was just as it was described! The cottage was fully stocked with plenty of towels, dishes, cookware, toiletries, etc. We found the cottage to be exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated and the beds VERY comfortable!! The use of the space was brilliant and my family of 4 felt very comfortable there. Tracy was very responsive to our questions and accommodated our needs. My only suggestions is to replace the small refrigerator with a larger one. It was difficult to keep our food stored and had to go grocery store almost daily. Other than that, it was a perfect stay!!
