Stunning property.
We arrived after sundown and were greeted with a blanket of stars over the property. Our cottage was beautiful and the sounds of nature made falling asleep incredibly easy. We woke up to an incredible view and the sounds of the farm to start our day right. Then we had some of the homegrown coffee and couldn't be happier we got to stay here.

Far away from the city, just the way I wanted it. Only con is that there is no AC, otherwise it was great

Peaceful
It was a super pleasant stay; the ducks in the morning were especially entertaining and the neighborhood was sleepy and quiet. Loved it!

Gorgeous Views
We had a great time with our stay. The cabin was clean and had great views of the property and the ocean. We loved all of the farm animal friends that came to visit us on the porch! It was perfect for a couple nights while we explored the east side of the island.

A farm experience
If you love animals, this is a fun spot. Cats, ducks, and chickens visit you at your door every day. The sound of tree frogs will put you to sleep every night, and rooster crows to wake up to every morning. There are also 2 cows that are just a short walk down the hill and past the campgrounds also located on the farm. The location of the tiny house is to the side of the owner’s house, with a privacy fence to the side of the tiny house. Directly in front of both houses is a deck with 2 chairs that is positioned so you can watch the sun rise over the ocean. The house itself we were a little surprised to find that the front of the house had 2 entrances, one for the bedroom and one for the kitchen and bathroom, meaning that you must go outside to go between the two. The bedroom is really sealed off from bugs but the kitchen and bathroom ceiling had gaps and holes to the outside, as well as gaps at the top of the screen door. We didn’t notice any mosquitoes come in but there were moths and geckos that frequented the kitchen. We were bitten a few times by the very small fire ants, at no fault of the Vrbo hosts, just something to be aware of. The water heat in the shower comes and goes which wasn’t fun. The waterfall is not on the property, it is a few streets away, and the hosts talked with us and told us how to get there. It was pretty cool, but be very careful as it is a difficult trek. The hosts were very nice and helpful. Overall we were happy with our stay

A fine stay if you like glamping
Overall for the price and everything, it was a good stay but a few things were iffy: 1. the pillows provided were a bit smelly, though everything else was clean 2. The shower would change temp constantly and we often had to take cold showers 3. the bathroom and kitchen are NOT connected to the bedroom (though it is next door) so if you have to go in the middle of the night you have to go outside and try not to fall off the deck 4. the animal sounds are LOUD. I've lived with chickens before and thought I knew what to expect. The problem was, it wasn't really their animals that were noisy it was somewhere nearby in the neighborhood that must have had 20 roosters, barking dogs and mooing cows. It was a lot. Consider bringing earplugs if you're a light sleeper. 6. Two times we got back in the evening and there was no more parking available. We had to park off of the street and walk up. 5. The hosts were friendly but a little hard to get ahold of by text sometimes. I think as long as you know what to expect (glamping) it's fine but you shouldn't go in thinking it's a normal Vrbo stay or you might be disappointed.
