The whole check-in process was not pleasant. I emailed the property mgr through the VRBO App and through email, requesting their "code" but I never received an answer and when I got to the pick-up location, they would not give me the keys without the number. Had to call customer service and go to the apartment to get the keys. The key location was a block away from the apartment and honestly when we arrived, we really thought it was a scam - it was some convenience store on a sketchy street! On departure, again no "code" so I called customer service again and this time if I hadn't asked when the key location was open, I would have gone there and they would have been closed (left at 09:30 and they open at 10:30, so it's not like we were really early!). The apartment itself was not great. It had all the basics but it did not look like the pictures (those must have been taken when the apartment was newly renovated!). It is need of a paint job and the furniture is basic at best. The layout was terrible as well - the two bedrooms were on one end of the unit, the two bathrooms were on the opposite end of the unit, and the living space in the middle. So in the morning you had to parade by your friends to get to the washroom!There was no fan in one bathroom, so it was very steamy after a shower.In terms of location, not bad, but really not super close to the main attractions. Thank goodness for the Metro and UBER!Sorry but I would not recommend this property.
