Very clean. Dated but we know the rooms are in the process of being refurbished. We spent the days at Disney only coming back for a refresh and quick swim. Breakfast was great! Staff were great and very easy to walk to Disney.

The location was very convenient, being about a 15 minute walk to the park entrances. Also, if arriving by train, the shuttle bus location was not far and a regular service to the hotel. The rooms were clean and a good size. However, feel that they could budget to spend funds on replacement of bath towels, given the rates charged, felt the towels were old / small in comparison to other accommodation we've stayed at on our trip so far. A first world problem I know.

Great staff. Great breakfast. As it was Halloween season food at hunters grill was notbas we usually expected. This was our 3rd visit and we were really disappointed. They had no vegetarian pasta. Some black squid pasta only. Not good if your child wants pasta and no pizza either. Just rice, sauted beans and mickey waffles. Not really alot of choice. At least offer plain pasta for the vegetarians. Close enough to disneyland to walk. But not sure if I would choose this hotel again.

The air conditioning was really poor and if you are expecting the equivalent of the Disney Grand Californian it is not, but it was the least expensive option with AC and the pool was a hit with my kids.

We have loved our stay at Sequoia Lodge and would stay again. Yes the rooms are dated but they are getting refurbished now so that will soon be sorted. Our air con was great, the room was large and had a view over the lake (room 3130) We would happily stay again and to be honest I prefer the hotel more than Newport Bay!

We had a lovely stay at Disney’s Sequoia Lodge and really enjoyed the whole experience. The hotel has a beautiful, cosy feel, with a lovely woodland theme and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it a great place to unwind after a busy day in the parks. Our room was clean and comfortable, although it was looking a little tired and dated in places. We understand that the rooms are being refurbished, so hopefully the updates will make an already lovely hotel even better. We’d definitely be interested to see the finished rooms on a future visit. The location is a big plus — it’s an easy walk to the Disney Parks and Disney Village, which made getting back to the hotel after a long day really convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we loved the atmosphere of the hotel, particularly in the evenings. After a busy day in the parks, coming back to the cosy feel of Sequoia Lodge was really nice. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. It has a lovely Disney feel without being overly flashy, and with the refurbishment programme underway, we’re looking forward to seeing how the hotel develops. Hopefully the refreshed rooms will make an already enjoyable stay even better!

Location is great to the Disney Village and parks. I think some rooms have been refurbished but not ours. Carpets definitely need a thorough vacuum and steam cleaning. For a Disney property and the $, I was disappointed in the overall condition of the room and property. Especially in comparison to Disney hotels in America - including value resorts in Florida are maintained much better. And Sequoia is not a value resort. Ice machine on our floor did not work.

We stayed in a Golden Forest room for four nights which was very clean and well maintained during our stay. The hotel is lovely, clean, well themed with some great architecturural features, however it showing some minor wear and tear with some slightly dated decor. This is likely to be rectified with the current ongoing refurbishments. Check in was quick and easy with good communication and information provided. The amenities are fantastic, good shop on site, pool and gym are also very well provisioned. Some of the staff weren't always the most knowledgeable, and the standard of English spoken wasn't always the best given this is an international hotel which made queries difficult even with an attempts in french made by ourselves. (We are unfortunately not fluent speakers). The staff were however very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Dining options were limited to a buffet restaurant on site, but the Golden Forest lounge room breakfast and afternoon snacks were very high quality and good value. We thought three stars are a bit harsh for this property, it's more like a four. Would return given the opportunity!

Our room 2116 was very dated. On enterting the room a strong musty odour was present, chips out of tv surround wood work, peeling to wallpaper border and toilet was stained. The beds were clean and very comfortable so as we were only staying one night we accepted the room as it was. If it was a longer stay I would have asked to be moved room.
