Problemas no banheiro

O hotel possuía uma estrutura excelente. Porém, pegamos um quarto com pia entupida e um chuveiro que deveríamos aguardar 10 minutos para esquentar a água. Alem do desperdício, tal fato somente nos foi comunicado após ligarmos na recepção.

Worst hotel I've been to in my life (and I'm 60 years old having stayed at hotels all over the world). The room smelled mold, the entrance to the shower was so narrow I couldn't get in (and I'm a thin man), and it was outrageously expensive (about 750 dollars for 3 nights excluding breakfast) for a really tiny, filthy unfriendly hotel. The staff refused to accept any critique. It really was the worst. Keep away.

OK!! Well, Firstly, this Hotel is well situated, just a short stroll to the Arc de Triumphe and not far to the Eiffel Tower too, so can't fault it there!! The Hotel itself is in need of an up-grade, the decor is a bit tired, worn carpets etc. I have two major moans! First, The Shower!! This has to be the smallest shower in the world? They are almost impossible to get in and close the door? Now I'm not a 'Big' person, but anyone who is, Forget it!!! Dissappointing that Mercure think this is good enough. Second moan, we had been travelling all day, arrived at about 7.30pm and wanted to chill for a bit before heading out for the evening. What a good idea it would be to sit in the lovely courtyard they show off so well and have a drink? Well to discover that the Hotel only served soft drinks, didn't fill me with delight!! No extra business done by this guest that's for sure. Will be going to Paris again for sure, but won't be staying here!! P.S. Breakfast cost is also far too high, cheaper elsewhere!

Perfectly located hotel in Paris

Took my fiancé here for a surprise for her 30th birthday at the end of April. The key to me booking this hotel was the location of it, which for me couldn’t have been any better! Pretty much a minute walk away from the Arc De Triomphe, a couple of road crossings on the Arc De Triomphe itself and your on the Champs Elysees and pretty much 10-15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Could even see the top of the tower from our bedroom window which was an added bonus! Whilst reviews of the hotel were mixed and almost every review stated about the hotel needs a revamp (whilst very true), I still wasn’t turned off by the hotel because if your worrying more about the look of the room rather then spending time out in beautiful Paris, then something is wrong, it’s only a place to sleep! As stated I did agree with the fact the hotel does need a revamp though. Our room decor had material walls, which had a stain on there which wasn’t nice to look at, there was cracks in the paintwork from the steam from the shower, the carpet looked very old and tired and the shower leaked out of the door onto the bathroom floor. The room was very small if anyone was to worry about how big their room might be but I just put that down to staying in a very built up typical city building. We had a normal double room. The bed was very comfy and the room was very quiet. The staff were very welcoming and breakfast was lovely! It stated a deposit was needed but I didn’t know how much, it’s €30 per night.

Small room, great location.

Room was small. Bathroom was smaller. Had a rain shower head. Hate that. Wins award for smallest elevator that stops between floors. No matter what you will walk up or down some stairs. After all of that, the location was fantastic.

Great stay

They upgraded our room to a duplex room which was very kind and the room was amazing. Cool parisian decor, overall a good stay, can’t comment on the breakfast as we opted to eat elsewhere.

Easy reach of most tourist sightseeing

The hotel is on a quite street. Hotel staff friendly and eager to please. Decor needs a bit of TLC but is very clean and welcoming. We had a wonderful time, walking to the eiffel tower and arc de triomph from the hotel. Plenty of cafes and restaurants around the hotel. lots of shops - some open quite late at night. Museums quite cheap, but expect to queue unless you pre-book tickets.

Small but nice

Easy hotel to get to. Just 5 minutes walk from Champ elysees. Easy to spot the hotels sign outside on the street. Nice people in the reception who speaks english. Room was small, but clean and tidy. Toilet, shower and sink was working just fine. No elevator in the second building, but we got help from the staff to carry the suitcase. No problem checking out. Would stay here again.

havia duas teias de aranha no teto do quarto. Debaixo da cama, encontramos uma meia infantil, que não nos pertencia. O pior: ignorava que na ala em que foi-nos designada, não havia elevadores.Conclusão: subir e descer dois andares com malas e acessórios....achei muita falta de respeito ao hóspede não incluir estas informações no site do hotel...se tivesse conhecimento no momento da reserva...com certeza não ficaria nele...

O pessoal de atendimento muito educado.Café da manhã pequeno de boa qualidade.Ficamos num quarto superior de 20 m mas ainda sim muito pequeno.fomos informados que o ar condicionado só funciona no verão, tivemos q dormir de janela aberta pois estava muito quente.Banheiro o chuveiro molhava todo!!

Convenient location but a bit old

The rooms are not well maintained and quite a lot of defects. For the second day morning we found the toilet is flooded and noticed that water will fall from ceiling after opening hot water....they fall from the opening of the light bulb.... But I have to say the service at front desk is responsive and efficient and they arrange another room for me quickly. Also not to mention the early check in they have offered. The location is good and close to stations. It will be a good choice if you are the Paris Marathon runner

Quite hotel close to Champs Elysee

Had a standard room looking I to small courtyard. Nice and quiet yet hotel only 5 minutes from Étoile. But room very "tired" and in need of decorating and minor maintenance issues. Cleaning could also be a lot better but reasonably priced considering location. Friendly staff.

Breakfast shambles!!!

We're told breakfasts were 2 for 1 over weekend. Then when checking out was charged for both breakfasts. I queried this when I got the final bill and was told 'oh this didn't apply to the express breakfasts. I had clarified this at check in to make sure it applied to all breakfasts. Annoying to be misinformed. Also at breakfast had to find a waitress to get teas coffees first day and next day was told they would take our order for hot drinks and they never showed up throughout the whole breakfast. Hotel was good location and rooms were small but relatively clean but a little dated. Our shower door was old and leaked water onto the bathroom floor. Got a good deal when booking on price but not worth the standard rates. My advice would be avoid the breakfast.

Well-priced, comfortable hotel near everything

Hotel is about 5-10 minute walk from Arc de Triomphe near a major metro interchange with easy access to anywhere in the city. Staff was friendly upon checking in, and spoke English which was a relief for a non-French speaker. The foyer was updated yet unassuming. We got checked in and got onto a (very) small elevator up to our room. The hotel was clean, although the halls seemed in need of a little refurbishing. The room was small, with a queen bed, small desk and night stand pretty much filling up the room. The bed was comfortable and clean. I only had one small gripe with the room: the wallpaper and headboard were all done in cloth, and the headboards were rather dingy, presumably from people touching/leaning on it. Otherwise, the bathroom was small but adequate for my wife and I to maneuver in the mornings and there were windows that opened to the outside to let in fresh air or allow shower steam to vent. All in all, we enjoyed the trip and would stay here again.

A clean and tidy, friendly place

I chose the hotel as it was close to my office, but as an added bonus it is also close to the arc de triomphe and champs elysses and not far from the Eiffel Tower. The staff were lovely and the room clean, if slightly small. Loved the big pillows.

De uma forma geral, a construção toda do hotel necessita de reparos. Tanto as áreas comuns, quanto quartos e banheiros. Os quartos são muito pequenos. Os banheiros também, a ponto da pessoa mal poder se movimentar, principalmente dentro do box, e também, vazava água. Banheiro cheio de infiltração. O elevador fica entre os andares, não colaborando com a locomoção dos hóspedes, muito menos com o deslocamento com bagagens. Entretanto, todos os funcionários foram totalmente prestativos e educados, como camareiras, recepcionistas...
