I'd choose the less expensive Tower rooms that give you the same experience as the older historic building. "We loved stayed at the Marine Plaza, we had a sea view room with an outstanding view of Marine Drive and the Mumbai sunsets. Rooms were clean, staff frieand helpful and the food was lovely. Ubers were very easy to get directly outside the hotel but also walkable to the Gateway of India."

"The hotel is in a good location and has some history, but had no doubt seen better days. The bed was comfortable, although the room only offered a small, frosted window, v so I could only tell if it was day or night and one what the weather was like if I heard pouring rain. The staff are helpful and welcoming"
