"The Boot and Shoe is a typical country pub . Full of character . We stayed for one night. The room was basic but comfortable. Shower was good . It was very quiet from around 10pm so we had a good sleep. All the staff were cheerful , friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. We had the evening meal which was delicious . I had the pork belly from the specials board , Breakfast was very good too. We had the full English . "

"Swivel on shower head was broken, so had to hold the shower head in order to shower. Everything else was fine. Good location, walking distance to everything. Friendly and attentive staff"
