This room (#4) faces the back courtyard and church - we found it very light-filled yet without street noise. There is no elevator, but the steps were easy."

"This hotel is in a GREAT location. It is only a 5-15 minute walk to most of the touristy Royal Mile things. There is a Sainsbury's and a Costa Coffee right next door. And a bus stop right outside the doors (although we walked everywhere). The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. We weren't in the room much, except to sleep, and it was perfect for that."
