"Staff were all lovely! Locals also very nice, real friendly village feel in the bar. Food was good and lovely little garden to sit out the back and escape the heat!
Rooms were basic but did the job for our one night stay.
Saw some photos online before going that worried us but room and bathroom and all public spaces very clean so don’t be put off! "

The bed was (unlike in some hotels) very comfortable. Had continental breakfast each day at £6 odd. It was adequate but no yoghurt mixed with berries like at Premier Inn and Holiday Inn Express.
