Great location, beautiful views
We stayed here for 2 nights in Sept l. The location was great if you want to see Valentia, the Skelligs or Kerry Cliffs which are just 2kms away. We had booked a Superior Sea View Double room. We had booked this because it came with a Jacuzzi bath and sofa and also the sea view. The room was clean and comfortable but there was no sofa whicu was disappointing because in these current times you cant stay in the bar all night so we thought it would be nice to sit and watch tv after dinner. I had terrible trouble trying to get the Jacuzzi bath to work and tried calling reception but got no answer. I asked the next day and was told the switch for the jacuzzi bath was behind a beside locker this was in room 8. I never would have looked there. There should be some note on the wall in the bathroom. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very tasty. We had breakfast the 2 mornings and the first morning the service wasnt great. We asked for orange juice and tea and neither arrived. We werè half way through the breakfast when we had to ask for tea again. We also asked for toast and brown bread and we literally got 1 slice of brown bread each. We asked for more but it never arrived. The 2nd morning we had a bit more success although we only received 1 glass of orange juice. But the food was fresh and tasty. On the first morning one of the owners was going round all the tables chatting to people and see what their plan's were etc but walked past us.

Brilliant stay!
Lovely hotel. Arrived late, and was checked in straight after our meal at the hotel (which was delicious!). Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Will definitely return to this charming village and hotel!
