1st time in Portrush and 1st time staying in a Bed & Breakfast. Our host did an amazing job and provided great recommendations for dining and bars. The room and house were clean and inviting. I’ll stay here again when I come back in Summer

This is an attractive b&b, about half a mile from “downtown”. I just left my car in the lot and walked into town for dinners and shopping. The room was nice, just a wee bit cramped (the dresser drawers were blocked by a chair from opening fully). The mother-daughter team that run the place were charming people.

The place is very nice, staff are friendly and food is good. The shower doors didn't close properly so water escaped plus the hot water on the shower came through boiling and then cold for some reason. A good night's sleep had though.

Very nice short walk to town.
Very highly recommended. The owner was outstanding. Food was good. Very nice and clean rooms. Food downtown was outstanding. Host made great recommendation.

The owners are lovely, our room was clean and comfortable, although a little chilly. We were supplied with a fan type heater, that worked, but took a while to heat up the room. The heat did not reach the bathroom. We talked to a couple from Scotland, who were very comfortable with the temperature, so it could be my thin southern US blood! Overall, a nice, comfortable stay with lovely, helpful hosts.

Had stayed at this house last year and everything was outstanding, especially the breakfast. We booked this year expecting the same but when we arrived it had changed ownership. Everything was as last year except breakfast which had a very poor selection and left a lot to be desired.

Fabulous
Friendly welcome and lovely staff. Bright, good size double room with comfortable beds. The bathroom was spotless with a really good shower. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of tea or coffee. Roomy car park out front. Within a 2 minute walk of the beach and a 10 minute stroll into the harbour with a great choice of restaurants and bars.

Ian is a wonderful host & very welcoming. The property has been renovated recently & tastefully furnished. Bed is firm for a great sleep. Irish breakfast & cold cereal sets us up for the day. Our best stay so far!

Beautiful b&b. Great service and beautiful room/bathroom with a nice breakfast in the morning. Great stay and would recommend. Only thing to note if you stay in room 7 and want a bath or shower let them know so they put the boiler on as it's the only room which runs off the main water heating (not electric).

Cozy stay for a quick trip to Portrush. I was able to check in very early which was so helpful. The property is very cute and close to all the activities in town as well as Royal Portrush golf club. Plenty of space in the room for the two of us to not feel crowded. Very lovely owners!

Anvershiel guesthouse
An excellent stay, the room was spacious, clean & welcoming. The breakfast was lovely. Alan our host was very helpful with ideas of places to see & where to park etc.

Large clean modern room. Fabulous bathroom with large walk in shower and a separate bathtub. Maybe a blind on the connecting bathroom door instead of a net curtain would be beneficial. Wonderful breakfast with numerous choices.
