This was the best VRBO we have rented, they had everything we needed and more. This location was perfect for us and the space in this house was fantastic, there was a spot for everyone including my husband who needed an office to work and the second floor coffee room was that place. Perfect Spot for Weekend Retreat

Our local church elders stayed here for our annual retreat, and this house was perfect. The location was beautiful, the fire pit was great, and the house had so many amenities — most notably, lots of seating and a fully-loaded kitchen. Sheila was easy to communicate with, as well. Would definitely return!

Sweet riverfront

Great location right on Mississippi river , quiet little town who welcome guests. The house has a great view, nice outdoor areas.The kitchen has all needs for preparing meals and a great entertaining set up

Beautiful House!!

My Bridesmaids and i loved our overnight stay at this house. Plenty of beds, very clean, coffee maker fully stocked ❤️ I was able to communicate with the owner at all times. The house is minutes from downtown LeClaire, absolutely perfect for a girls trip. I highly suggest this house!

Expansive House With Many Amenities

The house is clean and up-to-date. The amenities are excellent. There are numerous rooms in which to hang out, including a second level deck facing the Mississippi River.

Perfect anniversary getaway

We absolutely loved our stay. Waking every morning to the spectacular view was incredible. The home is lovely and so well cared for. Sheila couldn't have been a better hostess. Weather was not cooperative, and she made sure we were safe. Will we be back? Absolutely.

2023 Family Vacation

Beautiful, relaxing and excellent view! Enjoyed watching a pair of snow geese, Canadian geese, one duck, pelicans, and multiple boats, riverboats, tugs and sea scooters on the river! Trains were noisy, but didn’t mind too much. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of out vacation.

Beautiful Whiskey River Run House

Beautiful property with everything we needed. Accurate description of property and easy communication with owner. Loved the trains and barge watching. Delicious restaurants within walking distance. Hoping to come again in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor spaces more. Wonderful, friendly community with wonderful and beautifully decorated home! Highly recommend!

Quilted Ladies

4quilters get together for a week of laughter, quilting, and fun together. Glassed in front porch was perfect. Ate all our meals there ( dining table was filled with machines and projects). Other side of porch were comfy chairs to sip morning coffee and converse. Weather was great and the Mississippi was looking good. Great time was had by all.

Beautiful Home with spectacular views

This home has a wonderful enclosed front porch overlooking the Mississippi. We watched an eagle catch a fish right in front of us, and enjoyed the barge traffic going by. We also had spectacular sunrises while there. This home has PLENTY of room for a group. The only downside - the freight trains going through feet from the back of the home in the middle of the night blowing their horn. This woke us up at least 3 times a night.

Hidden gem on the Mississippi River

If I could give this review 10 stars, I would! The house was perfect for our party of 5 adults on an extended girls weekend. Clean, well maintained, updated, and every bit as beautiful as the pictures. It felt like home. Very quiet neighborhood within walking distance to two wonderful bar & grills with great food and drink specials. House is close by to neighboring towns with shopping, wineries and a local brewery & distillery. Would also highly recommend the Tiki Tavern boat cruise rental which docks at the nearby Go Fish Marina Bar & Grill. Thank you, Shiela! Everything was perfect!

River House

This house was fantastic! It has everything; coffee, wine, towels, mugs, silverware, and even plastic baggies for my traveling ball players! If we are ever in the area again , we will choose this house!
