It would have been nice to have been met on arrival, not just an envelope on the desk. Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean.

We were very pleased with the hotel, clean, modern with spacious bedroom a very comfortable bed and great shower. The staff were very polite especially the gentleman who served us in the bar area. We also found it to be a great location for restaurants and bars plus ( go to the top of the street and turn right ) it was only a short walk to the shopping centre and the harbour too. The slight negatives were There wasn’t a hairdryer in the bedroom which was mentioned at reception, the receptionist challenged this and I was told to double check which I did and found it was definitely missing, by the time it was sorted my hair had dried and left me no time to straighten my hair before checking out.Also at breakfast the crockery was not replenished regularly which meant ourselves and other guests were having to use items such as mugs for the fruit juices Having said that, we would definitely book again should we be staying in Bristol

Disappointing stay. Adequate room facilities, but noisy position, adjacent to the busy road and certainly not a superior room. Worn and damaged carpet. Had a dog and consequently were placed in the bar for breakfast. Inadequate table space and poorly serviced. Staff were as helpful in the dining area as they could be, but overwhelmed by numbers, even though we were asked to choose a time to eat. We could not use our room after breakfast on one day as the cleaner was there. Parking was paid for on arrival but not guaranteed if we moved the car during the day. Reception were sometimes not as helpful as they could have been. [Asked about a local restaurant and were advised to look it up on Google) Overall, perhaps the hotel is understaffed ? Won’t be returning.
