"A very well run and quite quirky hotel (decoratively). Rooms well laid out. Staff very helpful. I also agree, very nice breakfast and good value for London. Showers very powerful and hot, but not a very practical wall fitting (ie: water shot all over the place), easy to remedy I'm sure. Only slight concern was the railway noise. Earplugs may be needed if you're a light sleeper. All in all though, I enjoyed the hotel."

"Thank you for a lovely stay! Great location, within easy walking distance to several stations (Aldgate East, Aldgate and Liverpool Street). Spitalfields is also just a short walk up the street. All staff were friendly and professional - special thank you to Rakesh on front desk who gave me early check in as my room was ready. He also wrote down my room number and pointed to it (rather than saying it out loud in a busy reception) which I really appreciated as a solo female traveler. I know it’s probably normal procedure these days, but you’d be surprised how many hotels don’t do this! The hotel was spotlessly clean, my room was perfect and breakfast was great. I genuinely can’t fault anything. The hotel kindly looked after my luggage after I checked out so I could explore London for the day without my backpack. Thank you!"
