"We stayed at the hotel for two nights and had a really enjoyable stay. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and made us feel very welcome. It’s clear that the hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment. There are still a few areas that could do with some TLC, but given the age and character of the building, that’s perhaps not surprising. There is clearly investment being made, and it was good to see the improvements already taking place. Our room was lovely, very clean and had everything we needed. The Nespresso coffee machine and bottled milk were a particularly nice touch, as were the cans of still and sparkling water. We also made use of the leisure facilities, including the swimming pool, steam room and jacuzzi, and enjoyed them all. The steam room could perhaps benefit from a little updating, but everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, with a really good range of options and everything we tried was very tasty. Overall, we had a great two-night stay and felt it offered very good value for money. We would definitely stay again."

"Beautiful property with the most friendly staff. Connor at front desk was extremely friendly and was able to help with everything we needed. The bar staff and restaurant staff in the morning were helpful and all with a smile. As we were traveling for days, the self serve laundry wash/dryer were very needed and easy to use. Would highly recommend this property."

"We had a nice one-night stay here and the family room we had was very well appointed and clean with quality fittings. The decor was good but could have been a bit more warm and inviting. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the breakfast was great - the food was well presented and fresh. There wasn't a bar as such but the reception staff were available to provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the small lounge area. Again, I think the public areas could have had better lighting and more cosy decor to provide a more welcoming ambience but overall a great place to stay in the lovely town of Pitlochry."

"It was a quiet, clean place to stay. The best part was the breakfast! The workers were very pleasant and make it obvious that they worked toward making your stay a pleasant one. One tip: better signage to lead guests to the check-in office, and please place the bath mat out in the open as the shower without it was quite slippery."
