A magical experience!

I honestly don't know where to start. This house provided us with a necessary respite and safe haven during these uncertain times. It was warm and welcoming, while also making us feel like for a spell we were living in an episode of "Lifestyles of The Rich and Famous." We awoke each morning well rested and having to pinch ourselves to see if we were dreaming. The place was very well maintained, clean, comfortable, well equipped, and beautiful. The mattresses were amazing- everyong getting a great nights rest. The beautiful surroundings, peace, and serenity of the place probably also helped. :) Meals were enjoyed around the huge dining room table and were easy to prepare with a double oven and plenty of utensils, pots, and pans. We enjoyed sledding at the nearby golf course, walks on the lake, late nights and early mornings drinking hot chocolate by the fire. What made this exceptional was the service provided by Morton & Furbush who were always available to answer any question and reached out repeatedly to make sure we had all that we needed. They even emailed to update us when the plow would be there during a storm. Everyone at the rental agency was amazing and I would highly recommend using them to assist with planning a trip to the area. I know we'll be using them again. While there are many sites available for rentals, it was so nice to have that personal touch!!!

Where Memories are Made

What an incredible week we had at Potters' Place! Our family of 20, which included children ages 6mos-22, found more than enough to fill each day without ever leaving the property. The tree house was a favorite and fueled the creativity of the 4-8 year-old bunch. Even tho the water was cold, the kayaks and water trampoline were a big hit. The house was beautiful, furnished with everything we could possibly need and big enough for everyone to have space--the five girls loved sleeping in the bunk room. The state-of-the-art kitchen was wonderful since we ate our meals there, and games, puzzles, movies added to the fun. We could have spent at least another week and not run out of things to do. The house was spotless, housekeeping was attentive and helpful. I could go on and on! Our week at Potters' Place added precious memories to our family memory bank. We are deeply grateful for the time spent together there!

Our family just spent

Our family just spent another wonderful week at Potter's Place. The property is magnificent and has all the amenities you can imagine. The setting on Rangeley Lake is gorgeous and makes it very easy to kayak, canoe, and swim. We look forward to returning next year !

The Potter house on

The Potter house on Rangeley Lake was a perfect spot for my family to gather for a long winter weekend in Rangeley. The space in the house allowed everyone to either gather or spend time separately. We all enjoyed movies together in the video room, the younger members of the family also enjoyed the Xbox that was there. Some played pool, others did a puzzle, and my three year old niece and 1 year old nephew played with the variety of toys that were available. The Thomas the train set was a big hit! We had such a nice time that none of us wanted to leave. We would love to return to this spot again. Thank you for sharing your house.

Awesome Vacation!

My family has been vacationing in the Rangeley region for over 40 years. We have all agreed that our week at the Potter house was one of the best weeks we can remember. The house, dock, boats, swim out raft and other amenities were awesome. Our group had 4 separate families and a total of 12 people. The house was more than comfortable.
