"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Torbräu and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Munich. The location is fantastic—right in the historic center and within easy walking distance of Marienplatz, restaurants, shopping, and many of Munich’s major sights. It was also very convenient for getting around the city by public transportation. The hotel has so much charm and character, while still being comfortable and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. Breakfast was good and a great way to start each day before heading out to explore Munich. We especially appreciated being able to walk out the door and immediately feel like we were in the heart of the city. Despite the central location, the hotel felt like a relaxing place to return to after a full day of sightseeing. Hotel Torbräu was a perfect home base for our time in Munich, and we would happily stay here again on a future visit. Highly recommended!"

"The room was clean, but air conditioner was not working. Talked to a staff about it, and she came into the room to verify it was not working. However, she told us to wait for 30 min, and let her know if it was still not working. There was no phone to call the front desk, and I had to go to front desk to let her know. It was so inconvenient and we just let it go since we were going to check out next day. It was not worth for money I paid for."

"The hotel was a fantastic location and the room was very nice. I did find the staff (except from the front desk), a bit rude. We tried to have a drink in the lobby and they wouldn't help seat us and then when they finally did, never brought us menus or came to see if we needed anything. Then the next night we went to the bar, which has a special dress code, and a very similar thing happened. It felt a bit unfortunate for guests of such a nice hotel."
