Loved staying here. A cute 2 bedroom apartment for my family in the HEART of Reykjavik! We could even see the church from our window! We parked once and walked everywhere for sites, food, drinks, everything. we even scored one of the two parking spots reserved for Rey Apts. Front desk was ultra friendly and helpful. Nice having a fridge and microwave to warm up leftovers from the dining places we visited. Bathroom had a towel warmer! Open and airy- loved it.

Loved this property. Check in and out was easy and friendly. Easy to get around. Plenty of shops and restaurants. Central. Room was clean and comfortable. You can hear the streets at night, this is when ear plugs come in handy.

I love everything in and around the property. The only complaint that I have is NO FRONT DESK and I feel UNSAFE for it when staying there.

Excellent location, 5 mins from church and Bus Stop #8 for tours. Supermarkets nearby. Town short walk. Easy check-in at hotel 2mins away. Clean, well equipped, well heated apartment. Our 2 bed apartment was on top floor, carrying luggage up staircase was tricky. Bathroom large, good shower. Towels changed when requested, house keeping every 2 days. Large dining / table kitchen area, but only a small sofa in sitting area. Kitchen has all equipment as detailed. Main bedroom (slept 4) did not have any storage for clothes at all. Bedroom 2 (2 beds) had a chest of drawers. Lots of windows (nice!) but blinds could be better fitting, possible problem in light/summer months. Wifi was terrible at all hours of day/night; we reception advised reception but no solution found. Reception arranged early morning taxi for us.

Overall it was good. The unit itself was a little dark and could use brighter lighting. Also the stove top could use some instructions.

Very nice apartment, location is the key, very close to the main shopping street and lots of good bars and places to eat. Has a small kitchen too. There is access to the breakfast at the main hotel when in a rush

The location is great, the only issue is the apartment doesn’t have an elevator, and the unit located on a high floor with narrow, steep and impractical staircase, must be very cautious when going up and down, can you imagine the situation of carrying luggage up and down the stairs, Not suitable for elderly and those with large luggage

We were blown away by this apartment. it was immaculate, stylish, super clean comfy warm smelt great to be honest it looked brand new all the kitchen items were from ikea and matched and looked brand new. fully recommend it.and an excellent price

Buena opción de hospedaje
El departamento es bonito, muy comodo y bien ubicado. No hay elevador para subir equipaje. Las ventanas son antiguas y entra chiflon y ruido. La ubicación es ideal. Fue un poco difícil de encontrar en la madrugada qje llegamos pero regtedamos al hotel en el que hicimos check inn y nos acompañaron a los departamentos.

Amazing and super comfy stay at Rey apartments.
Amazing location,great apartment for 4 people,spacious warm rooms with blackout blinds,super warm shower and delicious drinking tap water…walking distance to all stores,restaurants and bars. Very friendly staff at the reception.

Great and stylish apartment
Very well located and stylish apartment. Kitchen facilities looked good although not needed given the many eating options around. Only downside is that parking is limited as you are very much in central Reykjavik so had to park a way away. Best to unload bags by the apartment first. Check in at the nearby hotel is fine, but adds to the logistics of parking/unpacking.

We were there for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday, and the apartment was fine. Beds were good. But there was noise from the bars outside which made it more difficult to sleep.

Our stay at Rey Apartments was absolutely amazing! Exceeded our expectations. Our apartment was a tiny bungalow ticked back from the street. It was super modern and cosy at the same time. The bed was amazing!! We loved that it was so close to everything and the main shopping dining area!! We would definitely stay again!

Lovely space in a great location with easy parking and helpful staff. Bar across the road only has a tarpaulin roof is very noisy until very late on Fridays and Saturdays.

Great location! Staff was very responsive and helpful. Room was very clean. My only complaints were 1) shower curtain did not contain the water spraying from our showers. Water dripped out to the bathroom floors and around the toilet. There were no extra towels for the floor to absorb the water. 2) Very noisy as the apartment was on the first floor. There was music blasting from parties outside on the weekend.
