The Mettā Hotspot: All for One & One For All!

Metta Hotspot is a bright, trending, airy 2 bed flat designed w/ the principles of metta- good will, & loving-kindness. Appointed w/ our own luxury Metta Home textiles & all amenities we value in our own routines, we want you to love your stay so much you want to bring the Metta to your own home. Near to the Fan District–full of pocket parks, amazing views, historic buildings, acclaimed dining, VCU, VUU, U of R, Scott's Addition, Retreat & Bon Secours. Off street parking for 2!

The Space:
Located on Broad St. this flat is a second floor walk up, (17 steps total) above a well known tattoo shop. When you pull into the parking space in the back of the building you will enter through the black iron gate (with the gate code) and up the stairs to another keyless entry door.
*Note: there isn't an elevator
It's an open concept and very spacious -
The living room where you can see the dining area and the kitchen. The living space has a queen sleeper sofa (made in the usa) the dining table accommodates 6 and can extend on both ends to accommodate four more. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials even the locally roasted ( by Lamplighter here Richmond) Mettā Coffee - Stir. All of our Mettā Home properties feature our luxury mattresses & bedding available for shipping to allow you to bring the comfort of our home to yours.

As you enter the hallway the 1/2 bath is on the left and the 1st bedroom is on the right. Queen bed with our mattresses and organic bamboo bedding. There is a sky light in this bedroom, but don't worry we have created a curtain that you can open and close.
There is a sliding glass door that leads to the full size bathroom. The bathroom is large! Vanity, full walk in shower with two shower heads and a laundry closet. Should you need to use the washer or dryer or both please don’t over load them, they work great when filled but not overloaded. Our towels are organic bamboo and vegan ( yes there is such a thing!) also made for Mettā Home. All of which can be purchased. via our site.
The second or front bedroom has another queen bed and twin sleeper. This bedroom has sound proof windows. They are like storm windows and you can open and close them with the little latches. We leave them open so you can open and close the blinds.

We have a deck with dining table and lounge seating to enjoy the outdoors or have your morning coffee.

*We understand that traveling can be unpredictable and you may arrive early or late, so we do our best to accommodate early and late check in requests with a fee. A $25 per hour fee is charged to have the cleaning crew work quickly without compromising the cleanliness and safety of you our guests and our cleaning team.

*** A $150 additional cleaning fee will changed on longer stays of 14 days or more. **

Other Things to Note:
* NO SMOKING anywhere inside the home. You may smoke outside; be sure you extinguish what you are smoking before leaving unattended. Be sure that all doors, windows and any opening where smoke may enter the house are closed and secured.
* HOUSE PARTIES & EVENTS ARE PROHIBITED
* You agree to act in such a manner as to allow those nearby peaceful enjoyment of their properties.
* We reserve the right to cancel your reservation at any time if you violate this policy.
* Advance notice is required for early check in requests and we'll do our best to accommodate those requests.
* We charge $25 per hour starting at 12 noon and will be requested through Airbnb upon check in.
* Late Check - Out: Check out is on or before 10am. If you would like to extend your check out time, please contact us in advance and we may be able to accommodate your request.
* Unauthorized late check-outs will automatically be charged 30% of the daily rental rate per hour stay past 10am.
* Your unique access door code will only work until the checkout time of 10 am unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.
* We understand that accidents happen, but please let us know if something spilled, stained, or gets broken during your stay.
* Failure to communicate any damages, we will pursue collecting for the damages through Airbnb and charge an additional 20% over and above the replacement costs.

** PETS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED Please send us a message should you want to bring your pet. There is a nonrefundable fee of $35 per pet for short term stays that we will request upon check in. Long term nonrefundable pet fees are $150 per pet, per reservation.
You know your pet better than we do, please bring the appropriate accommodations for your particular pet. For example, if your pet is a shedder, please bring your own blanket to protect our furniture.

** Please pick up after your pet when walking them in the neighborhood.
** If your pet makes a mess in the house please clean it. Uncleaned pet messes and strong odors will be subject to additional fees.
*The Hotspot accommodates 4 adults comfortably and for additional nightly fee, we do have queen sleeper sectional sofa. $25 per night each additional guest over 4 guests, please message us for approval.

Interaction with Guests:
That's up to you. I love meeting guests, but meeting isn't necessary as checking in and out is really simple. However should you want to meet, we can do it safely from 6ft!
