If you are looking for calm waters and a great place for family fun, the Octagon House is for you! This spacious home is located at the 5 mile marker of the Little Niangua. The 2 level Octagon House offers a total of 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, newly renovated kitchen and living space. The upstairs had three bedrooms and a bathroom. Head downstairs to the master suite to enjoy the custom walk in shower and new soaker tub. The downstairs also has a large living area, a wine bar, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. The unique octagon shape of the home allows guests to take in 180 degree views of the lake. With 198 ft of waterfront all to yourself, along with a HUGE private dock with 1 slip available for your boat and water toys, this property is perfect for guests be outside and enjoy fishing, swimming, and sunbathing. The dock is equipped with a refrigerator. If grilling outside is your thing, we have a gas grill for you in front of the house. Want to relax in the evening? This Octagon House has a Jacuzzi Hot Tub and patio to enjoy throughout your stay. If the weather turns, the home has a TV in the living area space upstairs. We also have complimentary high speed internet. This property is off the beaten path, allowing guests to relax in the tranquil environment that the lake offers. However, if you want to venture into town, the property is only 25 minutes from Camdenton, which has tons of restaurants and shopping venues for guest to enjoy. With 2 kings, 1 queen, Twin over Full bunk beds, a sleeper couch upstairs, and a futon downstairs, the Octagon House has plenty of space for all to enjoy.

We have Remodeled a modern studio space for guests to enjoy in the summer. The 450 sq ft space is included (included in rate) for summer months through September. The studio is on the same property and shares the driveway with the Octagon House. it is just steps away from Octagon House. Space features a full size and King Size Bed. There is also a bathroom with small shower. ROKU TV in the studio as well. High Speed Internet

Beautiful, relaxing, peaceful spot

I stayed at this property three nights with my adult children (all in their 20’s) and their 1’s— there was 7 of us. We all enjoyed the chill vibe. There are enough rooms and spaces for everyone to get some separation when needed. Also lots of enjoyable “together” spaces like the deck, lower patio and giant dock. It is in a quiet area, so if that’s what you want this is a great choice! Would definitely go back.

Beautiful home with a spectacular view!

The property was perfect for our group. We loved being on the lake and swimming off the amazing dock. Plenty of room for our group to sleep, hang out and enjoy the amenities, such as the hot tub and deck space.

Turning 25 twice getaway!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Octagon House. It was relaxing and quiet and the perfect getaway with friends. Andrea was very accommodating when we requested an extended check out….We didn’t want to leave :) will definitely be back again!

We had 2 families share this house and it was perfect! The additional studio apartment was a great additional space for the teens to hang out separately from the adults! We would highly recommend this place!

Great Place to stay!

This is our 2nd time staying at this house. House is clean and has everything we need. There is plenty of room for everyone. The cove is quiet and we spend a lot of time on the dock swimming and fishing.

Annual Family Vacation

Every year our family gets together and stays at a lake house for a week, usually in Minnesota. This year we decided to go somewhere different and we are so happy that we did. The house is beautiful and the location was perfect. We all had a great time!

Great Family Vacation

My family and I had a great time! Andrea was very responsive and helpful to all of our questions! We spent most of the time on the dock and having a large table and full size fridge was a great bonus. We would definitely book again!

Quite Thanksgiving

Loved the place, perfect for our family. Everything was as listed would recommend to anyone wanting a beautiful spot on the lake. My only complaint would be since we were there when it was cold, more than one tv would’ve been nice. I know it’s a lake house but in the colder months a tv down stairs would be nice. outside of that everything else was perfect.

Mornings on the deck

Mornings spent on the deck watching the lake was my favorite part. The location was perfect and not busy with boats. Grandkids enjoyed their time swimming and jumping off dock. Separate studio was perfect for "get away from it all" time.

Great location on the lake.

We have rented this house for two Labor Day weekends with friends. The kitchen and outside has been redone and looks great. The owners have been great to work with. It's on the calmer end of Lake of the Ozarks.

Octagon house

The view from the living room grand windows and the deck was amazing. It was also great to enjoy some sunshine on the porch. The hot tub was also nice to enjoy in the evenings when it got colder out. The owners were easy to communicate with and timely with responses. They were very accommodating. We would stay again.

Amazing views and amazing memories

Our family was so happy with how beautiful the views were. The home is gorgeous and so unique. The hosts are so kind and very communicative and so helpful with any requests. We came from California and were not familiar with the area and the host gave us suggestions and addresses of things close by. We caught fish right off the dock Blue gill, sunfish and catfish. We made life long memories with the kids. Owner let us use their dock to rent a boat. (Highly recommend lakerunners) A few turtles seem to stay at the dock, so the kids were excited to see them each day. We didn’t use the spa or fire pit because it was too hot, but each of those spots had their own cozy corner. Also, the photos do not do the summer separate home justice. I mean wow! Everyone wanted that space. It was so cute and nice and private. One of our favorite family trips so far. Thank you so much!
