"I stayed alone due to attending an early running event the following morning. I was warmly greeted by the host upon arrival and immediately shown my room which was clean and comfortable. There was a chair, a TV and tea making facilities with an ensuite shower room. The bed was very comfortable and helped deliver a good sleep. Highly recommended, I'll happily return next time I'm in the area."

The only minor issue was the lighting by the mirrors we found inadequate for getting ready for a wedding and it would have be nice to have a full length mirror. "We stayed here for two nights while attending a service at the church. The owners are charming and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was adequate for the two nights, we found it difficult to maintain the heat balance in the room and it was fairly chilly in the pub , the good food and atmosphere made up for this.
