"A unique hotel, and very friendly reception staff. I was in the Orient Express room which is a small single - you may wish to let reception know if you are particularly tall as the bed is deliberately like a train sleeper. The reception is clean and welcoming but if you're sensitive to scents, be aware that it is quite heavily fragranced. I didn't use any of the amenities but it does look like a very interesting and unusual place to explore. Would recommend."

"Stayed at the Moxy Stratford for two nights, first night being the hotel selected for the last night of a two week tour. Booked the second night two days before our stay using Expedia as our circumstances had changed. At check-in the two bookings were combined so we could keep the same room for our 2 night stay. We were given room 545, which overlooked the railway tracks at the back of the busy Stratford Station. The train noise especially the tube noise was clea rly audible, even with the earplugs, provided in the room. We decided to see if we could change rooms and my wife asked staff at reception who was very accommodating. AJ the guy at reception said he would give us a quiet room and we were provided with Room 508 (I think) which overlooked the inclosed light well. The room was as extremely quiet and just what we were looking for. If we had stayed in the initial room my review rating would have been a 3 at best but with the service and outcome AJ provided we give it a 5 star, just ask for a quiet room when booking."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Lansbury Heritage hotel. The staff led by their manager Anurag, were always friendly, polite, attentive and always happy to assist. The location was perfect for getting around London, especially for the abba arena."

"The hotel is stunning with really interesting original items from the building scattered throughout. However, if you are booking this hotel it’s important to note that they do not offer early check in unless you are willing to pay £25 for every hour early you are. The room was beautiful. Location was fantastic for any events at Victoria Park."
