Overall I would not recommend this hotel, not sure why its considered a 3 star. At night its very difficult to sleep with all the noise that gets threw the closed windows, the rooms are very out dated and not well maintained(for example the shower barely drains), the area depending on which direction you come from can be dangerous.
On the plus side its close to transportation and dinning options. Staff was kind but these don't make up for how old the room feels and the noise.
One of the few places near the Termini that allow a family of 4 to stay.
Would be nice if you could use the stairs, but elevator was nice and reliable.
Friendly and helpful staff and a good central location. The hotel was clean and the rooms a good size. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in the immediate vicinity.
Nicole was friendly and welcoming in checking us in and especially helpful in providing information and suggestions about tours and restaurants in Rome.
Over all the staff were helpful and friendly. The Hotel was very close to Termini railway station but the room was very small. Breakfast had very little choice, WI-FI was an issue in my room. I wouldn’t stay again.

Room needed remodeling, bigger elevator, area a bit unsafe.
Property has a pleasant historic feel. I love shutters. The streets nearby are diverse and lively and have lots of cafes and restaurants. All the staff were warm and helpful and I found the breakfast surprisingly good. Never heard of pistachio yogurt. Love it! And will never complain about that much chocolate oozing out of a croissant.
This Property is very close to Central station, 5 min walk, very convenient, space is small but clean, everything you need is in. Nicole was very helpful and very nice. Only one set back is the staff at night not able to communicate coz he doesn’t speak English so it was hard to communicate but he was actually very sweet.

Liked: Cleanliness
The front desk clerk when we checked in was very courteous and helpful. The morning of check out, water was not dispensing, I called front desk and the male staff was rude and did not provide options or a sense of sorryness.
The tub had a huge gapping hole in the side. The bed was extremely extremely hard. It also caught me off guard in such a small room the bed was two twins pushed together.
This was a really great stay. The hotel is in an excellent location (area from Rome Termini and its trim and Metro access), service was totally friendly, and the room was small but exactly as advertised. We loved everything about staying here … except the bed. The “king” bed was two thin twin mattresses on a box pushed together and was only marginally better than sleeping on the floor. Honestly don’t know why they don’t spend use what we paid for two nights to buy a new quality mattress and that would be that. BUT we would still recommend this place.
The first night was very noisy; The shower is not good with intermittent (un-expected alternating) hot-cold; tiny stream of cold water in the shower and washing basin.
I stayed one night with my family. Strong smell of cleaning chemicals in the room and the smell never went away. Television couldn’t find any channels, Wi-Fi didn’t work.
Our suggestion is; don’t stay here, you deserve a better hotel.
Overall the stay at the hotel was OK. It’s an old building but renovated and construction is on-going. The rooms were ok. Clean.
The location is very close to Termini.
My parents stayed at Rm204, the air-con was NOT cooling. We were at room 216 and it was OK.
The internet WIFI is not reliable. It turns ON and OFF, which is very annoying. I paid $281 AUD per night per room. Which I think is expensive.
Parked on the street was approached by people loitering around. We walked across the street saw they were looking through our car windows one of us stayed with the car. Streets wer're dirty with trash & debris. People approaching us trying to sell us stuff felt uneasy didn't feel safe. Couldn't believe there is a location like this in the city center of Rome. Couldn't find the hotel once we found the unlite hotel sign the door was chained with a lock. We left - can't believe expedia has a hotel like this on their website. When I went into my expedia app to cancel it wouldn't let me

Disliked: Staff & service
We waited until 3 pm for the room and were not allowed to sit at the reception. The lady staff at the reception was extra helpful but the male staff was downright rude and obnoxious. We first thought he was the owner but he was just a manager. The room were clean spacious but the air conditioning was dissatisfactory. It just wouldn't cool and there was no fan either in the room. We checked out the next morning and checked into a much better 4 star property with much less rate with the help of expedia helpline. We would have stayed if the manager was courteous and polite.
