Disappointing
Very disappointing with my stay. Complained to the hotel who told me I had to discuss my issues with hotels.com. Complained to hotels.com and got told I had to complain to the property directly. Very disappointing with the service from the property and hotels.com. When you are charged incorrectly for the room and then get to the room to have stained sheets it is not a nice stay. Staff were unhelpful and management was never available. Sent three emails and no response.

The front office staff were excellent! The room lacked amenities for a 4 star hotel, like an iron, the room was not sound proof an I could hear the neighbors intimate sounds. The parking was very good and the availability of electric charging was a plus. The area around was a bit dirty. I had sigarette butts on my balcony for three days. I believe this us a great 3sfar hotel and the staff and their hospitality is the best aspect of this hotel

This hotel was convenient for the Ryder Cup event we attended but that is the only good thing about it. The sheets had stains all over them, I was charged for a triple room when I only received a double and generally the staff were unhelpful. I would not stay at this hotel again.

This was an abysmal property! It was located between a tunnel inhabited by homeless people congregating around a couch that you had to traverse to get to the hotel and an isolated park. There was a long steep cement staircase that was at least 3 stories that you had to climb with your luggage just to reach the entry. If that wasn’t bad enough, it was unsafe. There was a homeless looking man who wandered in and out of the lobby, sprawling on the couches and stalking guests. You need a key to use the elevators, but the stairways are a free for all. It seems like a den of crime, and it’s so isolated there would be no one around to help you. My family and I had to cancel our reservations and leave. It was that BAD. I advise you to save your money and go anywhere else, but this place.

This hotel is the worst! Nothing worked in the rooms. The whole hotel did not have air conditioning working, with temperatures almost 100 degrees. There was no hot water either and there was no signal for television and safe deposit box was inoperable. The breakfast was taste less and there was no variety.

Good value, comfortable, and clean.
The hotel is good value for the money. Has nice terrace breakfast facility, and buffet breakfast with many pastries and pies, besides meats, cheeses, and vegetarian items. It is located in a middle class residential area away from the city center and nearly an hours drive from the international Airport. About 10min walk will take you to Torre Angela metro station to use Rome's extensive public transport. But, be sure to get back before dark as the area is not the best. Or take a taxi, or Uber from the station, but book ahead if its a weekend late night. Room was nice, comfortable, with good amenities. We just could not get A/C setting to lower below 22C. Staff was very friendly, cooperative, and helpful.

Do not book this hotel. It is not a 4 star property. The area is not good, over an hour on transit and driving to Rome city centre. The hotel is unkept, the lobby looks good when you walk in but as soon as you enter the elevators you can tell it’s not what it seems. The carpets are stained in the hallways and are coming off the floors. The walls are nicked and gouged. It smells musty. The room does not look like the photos, no duvet on the bed, 2 flat pillows, very uncomfortable mattress, no mattress cover just one flat sheet loosely on the bottom to cover a very stained and old mattress. The furniture in the room was peeling leaving sharp edges exposed. The bathroom was just surface cleaned with edges full of dirt. Only had 1 bath towel for 2 people. The front desk staff is snobby and rude. Avoid at all costs!!!

Helpfull staff especially the gentleman on the front desk offer me early check in at 8 am without asking . It was tge easiest stay in italy all italy . Room was verry clean spacious quiet .well take care off. Change tge bed sheets everyday . Its like new and fresh whenever cone back to the room . I really felt home despite it was in quiet area . I thi k management knows how to train the staff to let guests feel comfortable. Hot water pressure was the best in any hotel . Easy access to highways supermarket and esstaurant .

Very nice hotel, a bit far from the centre of Rome but easy enough to get to by Metro. And a short walk afterwards. Room very excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. Beans on toast , loads to drink, definitely suitable for Vegans.

The hotel had excellent facilities and the staff were very professional and provided excellent service. The area that the hotel is situated is not the best. It is quite dirty with litter and uncollected litter boxes overflowing. If you can ignore the dirty area, the hotel is quite good.

The hotel was decent and offers a simple breakfast but it's enough to start a day with. We had a room in front of the elevator so people and staff constantly walked there causing noises. Also shaver stall leaks water on the floor. Neighborhood was filled with black people wich makes the areay unsafe but nothing bad happened to us in that part of Rome.

Everything was really good, the room was nice, the food, the cleaning services, front desk support, not the best area to stay in Rome but the Hotel is an oasis in Tor Vergata.

a good experiance
For two days we have everything , what we wonted. I am pleasant in your town because for 6 years my son studies for medicine and live in Tor Vergata. We are visited many of pleases of Roma's history such as Coloseum, Piaca di Spagnia, Fontana di Trevi etc. The Italians are very good people. We have three happy days.

Described as being "in a shopping district". Not at all. Overall not too bad. The staff were less than helpful. We asked many times about joining our tour (we arrived a day ahead of our tour with the aim of joining the next day). We were were met with blank looks and "no tours here" responses. The tour arrived at the hotel the next day, we weren't informed (despite more questioning), as result we missed an entire day sight-seeing in Rome.

Best Western Hotel Roma tor Vergata
We stayed for five days in Best Western hotel and we've enjoyed the place. Good breakfast buffe, smallfree wi-fi, clean room. nice excercise room and a small but. clean swimming pool.I highly recommend this hotel for the people who wanted to see Rome and the Vatican City. The hotel is near the Metro train station and is about 30 minutes away from Rome. Train ticket cost 1 euro and fifty cent, one way.

We had a great stay. Breakfast was perfect and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The transportation was easy to reach,even when the hotel was not too close to the center of the city. I would definitely choose the same hotel again.

Really pleasant stay, the staff were wonderful, only got slightly confused as to where the bus stop was, those of you that do decide to use this hotel, make sure that you don't wait for the number 20 bus by cambellotti bus stop, wait on the opposite side outside the church. When you get into anagnina (connects to the metro) remember to buy your ticket which will get you anywhere in Rome, if staying for 3 days or a week it is between €16-€24. I definitely recommend this hotel but don't watch the TV unless you know Italian

Hotel that goes the extra mile!
Check in to the hotel was very efficient, fast and professional with very little waiting required. The room was clean, very comfortable beds with a nice balcony. Breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. The pool was clean and very welcoming during the hot August weather. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the neighbourhood appears a bit dubious, but I would like to give all credit to the staff(Cristina at Reception) who offered their shuttle to the nearest metro station during the day, and to her colleague who offered the same service (free of cost) in the night when we were departuring with our baggage and a tired daughter. Thank you for making our stay a pleasant experience. The only drawback is that the hotel is a bit far from home, but it is well compensated with the service and room rate.

We stayed several days at this nice hotel on the outskirts of Rome. Everyone there is very nice and they have a great breakfast and swimming pool.

Not located in a good part of Rome! The location of the hotel was worrisome when you walked to it after the bus stop. I definitely wouldn't walk there during night time hours! The staff was nice. The wifi did not work, and when I asked, the staff told me the technician was coming that afternoon, but yet it still didn't work the next day when I checked out of the hotel.

Worst experience ever! Promised free wifi and it was "down" for a day then we we came back for another visit 2 days later same excuse! Free shuttle hours we not "valid" and shuttle was broken - promises to talk to director never happened ! Rooms were disgusting headboards were dirty and had boogers on them plus other substances - my room had long black hairs in the bed and bathroom and I have short hair ?? House keeping isn't doing their job! My fridge was broken took 2 hours and 4 calls to get it replaced and the next morning I woke up to no power in my room! Front desk keep giving excuses and they couldn't do anything and that I had to call Expedia !!

Very nice staff, small and very basic but clean room, comfortable beds. Bus station is not far, but it takes about an hour to arrive to town centre and one has to use both bus and metro.

The hotel was great for the money. It is a little further from the tourist attractions but since I was driving it was not an issue. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, breakfast was very good, dinner had a couple of different choices every night and it was not too pricey. Overall I had a good stay.

This holiday and hotel was the worst experience of my life. This was a last minute booking for my birthday and I was hugely dissatisfied and suffered a huge financial loss; of which I will be claiming. The hotel was so far from everywhere. In an almost ghetto surrounding with loud late bangs/noises and screaming. No local exchange so HAD to make the 75 minute journey in to the town/centre. No air con. Was told to simply open the windows We were eaten alive and did not sleep well at all This was awful considering I had only booked a last minute holiday due to needing a rest and some stress free down time. The beds were hard and I woke up with back ache every day. I am a fit personal trainer with a healthy back so this worried me also as I was not expecting to go home more fatigued and weak! The food in the hotel was over priced and not of good quality The veal had too much gristle and my partners fruit salad at breakfast looked like the melon had teeth marks in it which led us to speculate maybe they added left overs to the bowl? This simply put us off eating in the hotel. There were no pleasant surrounding dining areas so we had to take public transport every night. This added to cost and time. We were also so tired from the lack of sleep and heat ; irritated by the constant scratching of bites that we argued by the end of the break which also made my whole experience more miserable!

Fantastic service
I can recommend this hotel for trade mark service and comfort. Location is questionable, though free parking is a helpful bonus in a european capital city such as Rome.
