Beautiful property two blocks from beach. Stefano was very accommodating and would use Whatsapp to communicate with us. Close to airport. We ate breakfast and dinner at hotel. It was nice dinner and so convenient.

Convenient location with comfortable bed. With only limited number of rooms it allows you to connect with other guests. Only a 20 euro taxi and 10 minutes from the airport. Simple but convenient restaurant on site open mornings from 7-9am and evenings 5-7pm.

Pleasantly Surprised
I wasn’t expecting a hotel in this area near the airport to be such a quaint nice place to spend the evening. The management was so kind and helpful and coordinated a shuttle transfer for me to the airport in the morning. The room was cozy and comfortable with good water pressure and the amenities you need. I ate dinner at the restaurant where the food was delicious. The hotel is charming and beautiful with a view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend it to any one who needs a stay close to the airport.

We had a fabulous experience at Intorno al Fico. We actually stayed there twice in the same week (we left for a couple of days). We felt very cared for. The breakfast was good and the dinners were very tasty. The pick up and drop off at the airport/train station was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed a daily walk to the beach and to the grocery store. We have been to Rome before so this was extremely relaxing. We would definitely return.

The hotel is good location to FCO and the beach. The hotel is clean and comfortable, however there are no windows in the room and you have to close a metal type barn door in order to lock your door. I was very claustrophobic. The area near the hotel is very run down and not a good area if you plan to go out. However if you are just staying overnight before airport it works just fine.

Great staff and convent to the airport. Ask for set cab fare prior to departing airport. Several fellow clients outrageously ripped off. Not the hotel’s fault, but buyer beware.

We needed a quick overnight stay near FCO airport. This was a perfect place. We felt secure. Walked to the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with a variety of items. Terrace area to see the ocean was a pleasant surprise.

These people are the best! And they have a little gem of a property. We were just spending the night between Rome flights, but wished we had planned to stay longer. Ten minute drive from/to Terminal #3, yet a very short one block walk to the beach. And staff is so happy to drive you for 20 Euros/couple. Stephano was waiting for us when we came off our flight from Istanbul. How comforting is that? Large but cozy room with rain-head shower and bidet. Beautiful, relaxing views from roof-top deck filled with soft furniture. Very nice, comfortable lobby with beer and wine available for reasonable prices. Full breakfast-great coffees, pastries, meats, cheeses, cereals. And I suggest eating dinner here. Grandma's pizza is other worldly. Another guest said lasagne was delicious. And right across the little street is a convenience shop with ice cream. And sleeping at night was so peaceful. No airplane noise until 6 am, and then not much. All around wonderful!

Great stay close to the airport.
We were greeted by Stefano and he explained everything throughly and also advised us on a great restaurant for diner. Even though we were close to the airport the double doors worked for soundproofing. We were able to have a good sleep before leaving early in the morning. Didn't have breakfast but had some coffee before leaving. Lovely courtyard and sitting area outside. Also it was nice to be able to park the car out front on the street.

The hotel staff was excellent, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We loved the courtyard with its fig tree and an outdoor table for each room. The area was noisy with nearby plane takeoffs, but once the doors were closed our room was very quiet. Our only complaint is that the bed's mattress was just a 6-inch deep piece of foam and provided no support. Heavier parts of our bodies (hips and shoulders) sunk to the bottom, which made for an uncomfortable night.

Disappointing Stay
Stefano was very helpful. Our room, Number 4 was disappointing. There was mold in the shower along the floor at the base of the wall. The light outside our room stayed on all night…we could not find a switch to turn it off. The internet service was okay in the lobby of the hotel, but non existent in our room, which was very disappointing as well. The amount we paid for the room was very overpriced for the quality. The proximity to the airport and Stefano’s transporting us to the airport was good.

My wife and I chose the property as it was convenient to the airport for our early departure the next morning. I can't say enough good about the two ladies who checked us in and later actually prepared food for us. Do to the early departure we couldn't wait for the area restaurant to open at 7:00 local so a pizza and pasta meal was personally prepared for us. This small, quaint, courtyard inn was very simple and perfect for our needs. The coastline was only a block or two away but we didn't have time to enjoy that aspect. Highly recommend.

This was a great option for our one night stay as we were catching an early flight the next day. Vero and Stefano made sure we had everything we needed, helped arrange for taxi service and sent detailed instructions for accessing our room since we were arriving at an odd time. Breakfast in the am was great and the whole property, despite being full of guests was quiet and comfortable.

A wonderful place to stay. Before the pandemic we stayed at the”intorno del fico”, and returned this year again. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Stefano. Unfortunately the hotel is considerably more expensive than in 2019. But a lovely place and we will stay there again.

The property is located in a run down area, at the bottom of the takeoff runway. There is only a pizzeria/takeaway close by, we didnt manage to locate the other restaurant. The rooms were clean but very basic, no carpeting on the floor. Aircon was noisy. No windows only a sliding opening onto the garden. The rate is low and you get what you pay for. Wouldn't stay there again.
