"The farmhouse is furnished to a good standard and we were very comfortable. Outside the views are superb and every bedroom has an amazing view. Dog owners must note that it's a busy working sheep farm so your dog has to be on a lead at all times when outside, there are no enclosed areas. It's in a good location off the A66 close to Threlkeld and Keswick with lots of walks available right from the doorstep."

"Amazing cottage with the most spectacular views. The property itself was very well stocked with everything you may need for a relaxing stay; kitchen is perfect with plenty of crockery, pots and pans etc. The bedroom is so relaxing... had the best nights' sleep in the super comfy bed; and the lounge area too... very comfortable, warm and cosy with the most amazing views. We loved our stay at this cottage and did some wonderful walks locally. I can recommend the farm shop up the road... very tasty local produce; meat, cakes and lovely gifts too. All in all, this was a perfectly relaxing 3 day break, and we will definitely return. "

"Great little space for a stay near beautiful keswick, cottage was located a 10-15 minute drive from the town centre & gorgous walks local throughout. Clean, tidy cottage with a great shower. Only slight issue was the kitchen was very compact so would benefit from a wooden top that could be placed over the sink to give more work top space. Some clear instructions for the oven would be great too as it was difficult to use, had to google how to use and even then couldnt get it working 100%. Overall a lovely great stay & we would stay here again x"

"Really fab. Great place to stay. Clean, warm and very well equipped. Nice touches - the owner left biscuits, chocolates and a personal Christmas card. Recommended However, the property was badly let down by the agent - Sykes who provided poor service. The booking contract was with Hotels but I had to add an account with Sykes who then asked for an additional £13 for the basic booking. I had to spend some time talking and emailing to Sykes / Hotels to get it sorted. Poor set-up by Sykes with their 3rd party sales agent. I’ll be going out of my way to avoid Sykes"

"Great location for us as we wanted to explore that area. Cottage is set out lovely, you can relax on a cosy sofa looking out over the hills from large patio doors. Bedroom cosy with a comfortable bed. Would be a positive improvement if you got some new bedding. Kitchen well equipped but please, please clean the oven and the overhead fan. Bathroom with a large shower with lovely hot water, but please, please mend the broken tiles and re grout the base of the shower. Great tv but needs a booklet to explain how to use it , as we’re not that great with technology."
