"I had a wonderful stay in this cottage. The cottage has all you need like home from home. It is located just a few metres from the sea with the Connemara mountains in the distance. Its idea for exploring the rugged coast, the mountains, the fjord and lochs. With many walks to enjoy. There is a nearby pub that serves great food. John and Mairead are super hosts.John keeps a distant but watchful eye and would be there to help should the need arise. I would recommend for families or smaller group. I spent a month there and was sad to leave. Thank you John it was a pleasure to have met you and to stay at your wonderful cottage."

"Absolutely loved our week at the house on the peninsula by Lough Corrib! The house offered everything we needed for our family of 4. The property is beautiful inside and out, and the views of the lake through the back windows are breathtaking. A 5 minute drive from the property puts you in the charming town of Oughterard which offered several options for dining, grocery, butcher shops, and cafes. The property manager Mike was fantastic and checked in regularly via messaging to see how we were. We would (and likely will!) absolutely visit again!"

"Very welcoming Staff! Picturesque location with views of the Atlantic from our room! Spa facilities were great too. Salt water swimming pool is warm and comfortable to swim in, as well as the use of the sauna and steam room, there are some nice walking spots around the property too and coral beaches only a 10 min drive away. Would highly recommend to anyone passing or driving the coastal route to/from Clifden to stop by as you won’t be disappointed! "
