Great find
A lovely place to stay, with a friendly warm welcome, amazing location, and a very comfortable and tastefully decorated interior. We had dinner and breakfast, and it was delicious, well-presented and good value. Would definitely recommend The Driftwood.

A great find in Rosses Point
My room in this lovely boutique hotel was stunning, beautifully designed. The staff were amazing & could not do enough, real Irish hospitality. I will definitely choose the Driftwood again

Everyone and everything about this property was great. A taxi brought me in from Sligo and only took cash ( I found out when I arrived), I found a woman who was working in the kitchen that gave me cash from her pocket (the tills weren't opened yet). The landlord came over, checked me in early, got me some extra cash, paid back the other woman, chatted, etc. The rooms were really beautifully designed, the food and the drink were great, and it was a lovely place to getaway for a day. I'd love to go back and visit.

Such a beautiful spot! Loved this inn. The staff was delightful. The rooms were gorgeous and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Rosses Point a delightful quiet spot outside of Sligo Town. Beautiful path and beach to run on too. Oh, and food also excellent.

What a find 👍
The Driftwood is s small eight bed hotel. I stayed in room 8 which was like a mini suite. It was really quirky & so tastefully fitted out it made up for no view. My friend stayed in room 4 which was smaller than mine but has stunning views of the sea. We eat in the restaurant & food was surberb with excellent service. The girl on reception went above and beyond to make me feel wekcome & gave me a complimentary drink because my room wasnt ready at 2.30pm!!

It’s a Restsurant with bespoke bedrooms overlooking Rosses Point. Idyllic setting. Staff cheerful and friendly. Perfect for a beak with partner. One quibble, I left around 8.45 am. Staff had not arrived by then and there was no way of paying the bill. This had not been explained to me on check-In. Subject to that really good.

Amazing family run hotel. Comfortable bedrooms that are beautifully decorated. The food is fantastic with a big emphasis on locally sourced produce. Rosses point is a beautiful village with amazong walks and scenery. Incredibly good value. I loved my stay here.

best hotel I’ve ever stayed in
I fell in love with this hotel and didn’t want to leave. It is designed beautifully, not the normal generic feel but full of warmth and character. Sipping wine in the comfy chairs in the room gazing out over the sea or soaking in the tub listening to music set the scene. The staff where amazing so friendly and attentive. The restaurant food was also fantastic I didn’t feel the need to eat anywhere else and the pancake breakfast was a treat! Highly recommended for a relaxing get away.

I spent one night at this beautiful place and I nearly cried leaving as I felt I was staying in a home away from home. The staff were so friendly especially the lovely Elle who looked after me when I checked out. I can’t say enough about it from the beautiful decor and the finer details that I will leave for you to see for yourself!! I never slept so good and had 4 showers in my time there!!! Voya products galore!! And I made full use of them!! Don’t think about it just book it!! Treat yoself!!!

Quaint, quirky and quiet - loved it.
This place was very nice. Nice location, interesting and nice decor and good food. The host as very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend and go back. I don't have a good photo of the outside, because they were pressure washing that day to give it fresh paint the next. It was a great find.

This is a family run hotel restaurant and hotel on the water 6 km west of Sligo with stunning views. The congenial proprietors run a very nice operation and give great advice in things to see and other places to eat in the area.

Simply wonderful! Service was excellent. Beautiful location. Room was very nice. Only things I would change are provide a luggage rack and heat the bathroom floors. Otherwise perfect. The restaurant is excellent. Great food! Great service! If you only eat there it is well worth a visit.

Exceptional our room was quirky retro and amazing. Really comfy bed and as for the classic bath filled with Voya bubbles need I say more. Yes the Amazon rain shower did the trick to freshen the most weary of travellers. Food also excellent and to crown it all was the staffx

An outstanding hotel. Simple and tasteful decor. Very clean. Very comfortable room and bed. Highly recommend the restaurant - included breakfast was best we had on our month long visit to Ireland. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant each evening - outstanding! Staff both friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved this accommodation and restaurant. The interior decor is beautiful and suits the North Atlantic Way. The accommodation is top class and the food is delicious. I couldn't recommend this place more. We should be very proud of businesses such as this one - truly representing the best of Ireland.

Great little hotel
The Driftwood is a really great, small hotel. The food in the hotel is lovely and the bar/restaurant is nice to sit and have a drink looking out to the water as well .The staff were wonderful for the whole of our stay and couldn't do enough for us. The room was well sized and it had a TV, radio, small table and 2 chairs, a comfortable bed and the usual tea/coffee facilities. One small thing to consider is that the bar/restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesdays at this time of year, they still serve breakfast in the morning but not lunch/dinner or even drinks in the evening. There are other places to eat and drink nearby, but I thought it was worth a mention. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely go back

October visit to Sligo
From check-in to check-out we found the staff super helpful and friendly. The room was as good as promised through photos, comfortable bed, powerful shower, with trendy decor. Breakfast was delicious and made to order, with great coffee. We would highly recommend this location. It’s situated right on the water with a great view and promenade.
