"Large parking area out the back, we missed it first round but located it easily enough - slightly slow check-in but room was gorgeous! I loved reading about the history of the hotel and local town."

"Absolutely gorgeous home in a beautiful place. The pub in the village is an amazing English pub with fires, there’s the most amazing walks right on the doorstep.Denise is a wonderful host and the cottage was the most perfect Christmas getaway "

"A cute property. A lot smaller than we imagined it would be but okay for two people for a couple of nights. A couple of things could’ve been improved - the freezer section in the fridge was completely iced up which made it tricky to put our frozen supplies in and the bottom tray on fridge door was missing so milk had to lay on top of food. The inside edges of the shower cubicle were a bit mucky! The back door was difficult to shut and the tv remote didn’t work. All minor inconveniences though that didn’t detract from the stay. Communication with the hosts was very good via WhatsApp. On the whole, I’d recommend the property if you want to stay somewhere ‘a bit different’. "
