Floating Cottage on the River "Nantucket"

Floating cottage on the upper Mississippi River, located in an off channel harbor in Iowa. Great location for families, fishing, and boating. Complemented with a quite welcoming atmosphere. Wonderful location to get a taste of the Mississippi.

You’ll be staying in Iowa’s only island city and have easy access to the beach, as well as kayaking, fishing, swimming. You’ll love the 360-degree views of the marina and the backdrop of the driftless area where rolling hills meet the Mighty Mississippi River. There are many things if you’re a nature lover in this area. Sit back, relax and unwind within our lovely floating home.

The Cottage is located at the North Harbor area with 2 "Cottage Parking Only" signs for your convenience. To get to your getaway you would drive down the path past the Harbor Store. The Nantucket Cottage sits right in the Marina.

New annual trip!!

This place was so nice stayed for two nights kids begged for a 3rd. Saw turtles,beavers, muskrats. Both kids caught their first fish ever right off the dock. Definite core memories. Beds/bedding were comfy and clean. Beach around the corner. If you need there are public swimming pools near. We went to mt carrol public pool and it was perfect. Have already booked stay for next year!! Thank you!
