I am very impressed with this hotel. The hotel has lovely atmosphere which became apparent as soon as I checked in. The receptionist's polite, highly efficient, quiet personality creates a very pleasant peaceful ambience. The housekeeping is of a very high standard not just in my room and bathroom but throughout the hotel. The cleaners are often the lowest paid workers in hotels and the most hard working of all hotel staffs. They should all be commended for achieving a very high standard at AC Hotel, Salford Quays. The breakfast service staff are friendly and obliging. I shall be making this place my "go to place to stay" on future visits to Manchester. If this standard is typical of AC hotels in the UK, I look forward to trying their other hotels in other locations in the UK.

Great hotel in excellent location for visiting Lowry theatre. Trains were cancelled for the weekend, we had theatre tickets for Friday and a hospital appointment on Sat am in Salford, Decided to stay over rather than make two trips there and back. Only feedback would be the bed was small but we are used to a king size. Lots of parking available on site. Would deffo look at staying over again here if we had the same situation again, especially as it only cost us £60 for the night!

Staff were nice and friendly. The car park was easy enough, £14 a night though. Room was fine, but the pillow was terrible, very soft and i think the seal in the window must have blown because it was so noisy. I did inform staff who said that they would sort it. Breakfast was a big let down. Many items left empty and food was cold. Not great, wouldn't return.

Some people have complained about slamming doors and I can for sure back those complaints. The room was suppose to be "sound proofed", but it wasn`t. The esthetique of the room was nice, but there were issues with cleanliness in terms of stains on bed sheets and towels + lack of hoovering. However the staff was lovely and whenever I had an issue they were able to resolve it quite quick. I think for the price and the fact that it`s rated as a 4 star hotel, I expected a bit more. Especially in regards to other reviews. Overall my stay was alright.
