"Vilaflor is truly a hidden gem in Tenerife. And to be able to stay in such a quiet, affordable, simple and well-run place was a joy. The staff were nice and helpful and the place simply had a very beautiful charm. In the mountains you can relax and breathe and we really appreciated having Ziggys as a temporary home. This makes us happy to come back!"

"Pros: Eigentlich hatten wir nicht geplant diesen Teil der Insel zu besuchen, aber aus der Not heraus kamen wir zu dieser Wohnung und es hat uns richtig gut gefallen. "We had a great stay at this hotel. It is a huge place with lots of pool and restaurant options, and brilliant staff. The restaurant setup is fairly unique, we ate at five different options even without being able to sample the top two (as they are adults only and we had our baby with us). Smart dress is required at each, reservations pretty much mandatory to get in due to the demand (it was. busy week when we stayed). Decent mix of cuisines, some variability in service but most staff were brilliant. Breakfast was a highlight, so many options and a great set up. As we were travelling with a baby we didn't get to use too many ameneties but from what I saw the spa looked lovely and it seemed to be a good place to bring children 3+ years old with the extra facilities and events for them. I wish some of the entertainment had been available earlier in the evenings, music shows seemed to start quite late assuming everyone had a late dinner, which didn't suit me. But that was a minor issue."
