"Small hotel with a super friendly staff, clean and great location. There is a vaporetto stop really close, so moving our suitcases wasn't difficult. Everything is 10-15 min. walk or less. Quiet area, there are many restaurants very close and a supermarket around the block. A/C very important during the summer months. "

"We had a great stay and would definitely return. The staff was excellent - very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was great with fresh and hot options. Our room had some age to it, but it was well kept and very clean - and if we wanted brand-new we wouldn't be staying in old Venice. Access to everything interesting in San Marco was steps away. Overall we were very happy with the Hotel Montecarlo and consider it a great value."
