"The staff is extremely proactive about making sure your check in runs smoothly and that you have what you need when you stay. I cannot emphasize this enough. They even helped me figure out how to ask for a phone charger converter in Italian after we realized that the one we brought worked in the UK but not Italy. They kindly allowed us to leave our bags there on our check out morning so that we could visit the Basilica Santa Maria Maggiore across the street. Our room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a saving grace in the extreme Rome heat. Our room had a mini refrigerator, something we found uncommon while visiting four countries in Europe, and we appreciated this. The location is close to Rome Termini Station, many, many great restaurants, the Colosseum, and of course the majestical Basilica referenced above. One note: This is not your typical hotel and has more of an Air B&B feel - your room is in a building that houses other rooms and offices. The staff is not present 24/7, but as I mentioned before they were accessible and responsive when remote. We entered the building using a key pad, but explicit instructions were provided well before our check in to ensure we entered with ease."

"Great hotel, room and staff! Room was very nice, spacious with comfortable bed. AC worked great which was very important as it was very hot. Breakfast was of great quality. We didn’t include it in our reservation, but ended up having breakfast there every morning. Hotel is located 2-min walk from Termini station. I’d definitely come back to this hotel the next time we come to Rome."

"We had a very good stay at Hotel Paba. It is a typical small Roman hotel, taking part of a floor of a residential building. Room was comfortable and spacious but the location of the hotel is the absolute highlight. Monti is a very cool neighbourhood and main sites like the Colosseum are a few minutes away. Easy access to two metro lines as well. The only issue would be the rooms are not really sound proofed, so if you have loud neighbours, that could be disruptive."
