Relaxing and invigorating
My friend and I spent 10 days here from April 12 to 21 2024 weather was exceptional
For my 70th birthday, I had come to check out the area, especially all the beaches if I wanted to return with grandkids. I hadn’t done a lot of preplanning, but was able to make arrangements on the fly with Google and Theresa‘s suggestions. We fell into the pattern of early morning coffee by the water then going out for a walk either in the neighborhood or a local park coming back for lunch then leaving in the late afternoon to check out beaches or nearby towns,or 2 state parks close by
since I am a camper, I loved the outdoor kitchen and eating outdoors, especially later evening with the magical lighting on the property by the water
I liked that there were bikes and kayaks and heated pool available I did take advantage of the free trolley rides on the islands which gave me a break from driving ! plenty of Publix Aldi Trader Joe’s, Marshalls dollar tree close by The hosts were friendly, but not intrusive
