Guests seeking romantic solace in one of the most beautiful cities in the country need not look any further. The Park House has acquired this cozy one-bedroom carriage house for couples looking to get away from it all, while still being just a short walk to most of the city's best dining, shopping, and attractions.

Enter on street level next to a local boutique; the carriage is on the second floor of a historic, brick building. The living room is flooded with light, boasting tall ceilings and a handsome fireplace (now decorative) original to the home. Park your suitcases at the entry and relax in the clean, modern setting. Take a moment to appreciate Savannah's picturesque views. If you listen carefully enough, you're sure to hear a horse-drawn carriage clip-clopping past.

The fully equipped kitchen sits adjacent to the living area, with every cooking essential you'd need to whip up a meal, big or small. A breakfast nook for two faces the bay windows. The bedroom is just off the kitchen, with a Queen size bed and ample closet space to truly feel at home. Those traveling with littles will love the convenience of an in-home washer and dryer. The full bath is en suite to the bedroom, featuring a standing shower with soap and towels provided.

Walk a few steps South towards Forsyth Park, Savannah's largest green space frequented by local runners, dog-owners, and families. Savannah stay

We got in on a Friday evening, parked, unloaded, walked to dinner and drinks, and did not drive again until we left Monday morning. The proximity to Forsyth park as well as River street was perfect. Size was perfect for the two of us. Clean. Bed was comfy. Highly recommend and we will definitely book here for our next trip to Savannah.

The location, in relation to Forsyth, the churches, and shopping/dining was perfect, and the accommodations were adequate in number/type and superb in quality. During times not navigating around town in the rain, we were thankful to have had the washer/dryer and dishes so that we could clean up and snack prior to venturing back out. With tons of natural light and historic charm, the property allows for opportunities to check out the neighborhood while preparing for your next adventure. Our next stay in Savannah will begin with seeking out this property!

Well kept secret

Well kept secret in the heart of the historical section. Very comfortable and clean. Parking right outside. Highly recommended. Don’t miss out on taking a bike tour. We learned so much about Savannah. We will definitely be back!

Nice property

Property was very clean and well maintained. Owner was very communicative throughout entire process. We loved being so close to Forsyth Park. Street parking was no problem. Our only complaint was late night street noise from people walking past windows being loud.

Anniversary away

I loved this place! Such a great location on Bull street! It is so close to the Forsyth park and a fun safe walk to the River street area through several squares and tree lined streets!! I loved the high ceilings and the “old” feel to the apartment above the store! It had everything we needed! The bed was very firm and the pillows were flat, not a complaint but having a few different pillow and blanket options would be a nice touch!! We also appreciated the soaps and paper goods that were supplied! There was a small cleaning issue that will hopefully be taken care of b4 the next tenant but nothing that would keep me from coming back! I loved the apartment and the location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The best part of the experience was its central location in the downtown area. The space was furnished and pleasing to the eye. The multiple rooms were great to have (kitchen, living room, bedroom) it felt like a suite. Lots of closet space, hangers for a week’s worth of clothes. The home was stocked well - even had a tea kettle, glasses, cups and plates. Kudos to the maintenance team - they were readily available by phone. My two cautions are to be aware you’ll have to lug suitcases up steep stairs to reach the door. Secondly, the bathtub clogged easily - so quick showers are best.

There is nothing that is not within a walkable distance. The River front is less than 1.5 miles, let alone the 22 "green space" squares all right around the corner.Would I stay again...Absolutely, without a moments hesitation! Thanks for having me...Cheers to the staff who answer the phones and to the staff who hold it ALL together & who make the home so clean!

The high ceilings made the space feel really grand! The location is perfect if you’re looking to be central to everything from downtown to starland district. Being steps away from Forsyth and being in a building with historical charm there is a noticeable amount of noise from the street and rumbles of city living but this seemed to settle by night. This alone wouldn’t deter me from rebooking. It was an overall great accommodation.

The Park House was perfect for our stay! The home was conveniently located next to Forsythe Park in a quiet neighborhood and away from the hustle and bustle of River Street - which was an easy walk from the home. We would recommend the home and would stay there again when we return to Savannah.

Short and sweet

We stayed for three nights. We had never been to the city and it was a grest location to be able to explore in every direction. Place was clean and air worked great (super high heat outside when we stayed.) Would suggest a notepad and pen some place, but other than that, nothing but good feedback!

Spring break / Anniversary

This rental was the perfect size for the two of us, and was in a great location right in the heart of the historic district! It was clean and well furnished with everything we could need. We are already planning a return trip!
