"The staff is fantastic. The bunk beds are comfy & clean. They have daily activities in the common room (beer & whiskey tastings). The hostel is in the middle of many important historical sites. Right on the Royal Mile & close to Edinburgh Castle."
"We had a fabulous stay at Kimpton. The hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of the city, but in a safe, quiet Georgian square.
The facilities are excellent, including a pool.and spa and 2 restaurants. We only ate breakfast and in the cafe area , not the restaurant, but the staff here are, without fail, absolutely AMAZING, ....friendly, professional and the MOST helpful staff i have ever had in a hotel.
Definitely recommend a stay there. "
"Excellent hotel with a comfortable room. Location very convenient, just a few blocks from everything. Just one feedback for improvement, the room had a very annoying energy saving timer that would turn off the lights every few minutes or so, but other than that we had a great experience."
"Close to train and tram station. 15 -17 minute walk from Princes Street. Very modern. It was supposed have microwave but did not. It did have washer and dryer but the dryer was a little complicated to use.
