"Spectacular view, quiet and very peaceful. Condo was clean and the host was very responsive. This was our first time on Amelia Island and we will definitely rebook this condo again on a future stay."

"This was the perfect letting condo for a getaway. Loved being able to listen to the ocean from the balcony. Also so easy to walk over to the Omni - I was in town for a conference and that was a nice perk. Also never had an issue with parking which was nice. Really neat spot and very spacious. Bonus the bed was extremely comfortable - would be perfect for a couples getaway."

"The beach view from our villa was mostly obstructed. The listing showed a balcony, but our room was on the ground floor with a patio that had no lighting, making it unusable at night. The photos used for booking are misleading and do not accurately represent what you get. The resort includes multiple buildings with different types of villas, a hotel, and smaller units, but this is not clearly explained during booking—so you don’t really know which accommodations you’re reserving. There was no kitchen; however, we booked a double queen room (not a suite), so that part was acceptable. That said, the villa itself needs a thorough cleaning and updating. The common areas and building exterior also show a lack of maintenance and upkeep. Overall, the room did not feel worth the price we paid. That said, the resort itself has a lot to offer—we enjoyed the amenities, shops, dining options, views, pool, beach, and natural surroundings, especially riding around in the golf cart we rented. The hotel next to the villas was a highlight, with brunch, live music in the evenings, a large pool, great views, and a boardwalk to the beach. Access to these hotel amenities for villa guests was a definite plus."

"This listing does not share how many steps it takes to get to the unit. Lots and lots of steps leading to unit plus two sets of stairs inside unit. Total of 61 steps to get to bedrooms! One guest has a recent knee replacement. This should have been included in the description. Unit was not as clean as it should have been with sleep gummies from a prior guest were left right on a nightstand in a bedroom. Host knew we had 4 adults but only provided water and snacks for 2 people, Nightstands are old, paint coming off. WiFi was incorrectly listed on email information. Did not receive email with a code to get into unit until after 4:00 pm and we had to call. Cobwebs coming out of air vents. Mattresses need updated….not as pristine as described. Would not recommend renting this unit. "

"Sandcastles is a great location. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Its great to have an extra sink outside the main bathroom and appreciated the shelf, extra places to hang towels Really liked the desk in the bedroom as a place to work and the dresser was great - lots of drawer space for clothes. Huge closet to store extra items we brought for our trip. . It was so nice to have an end unit. "

"Easily accessible for the surrounding town but limited use of amenities, pickleball courts are not available for guest u less booked through the resort. The check in through the gate is inconvenient but doable…hard ti find in the dark. Comfortable room for 2."

"Beautiful area. Short walk to beach and walkable to restaurants and shops on Omni grounds (not the main resort). Cheryl’s Sea Shed was well stocked and beds were very comfortable! The beach itself was wonderful, clean and not crowded. Appreciate the chairs that were provided. Owner was quick to reply to my inquiries. "

"Our family had a wonderful time in this lovely condo! The host thought of all the little things…including hooks for towels, great kitchen storage, and a stocked kitchen. The area is gorgeous and the beach is right across the street! Clean, comfortable, amazing location! "
