"Walking into the huge reception area was beautiful. Breakfast was very good and drinks at the bar in the evening were nice. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was a very good size. We all had a large comfortable bed. Nice shower."

"We booked 2 Superior Twin Rooms. The rooms were quite clean, the bathroom was very nice, and the hotel provided water bottles on the first day. The hotel has a great location if you are planning to spend a lot of time near Sanjo-dori and Shinkyogoku Shopping Street (within walking distance). There's plenty to do in this area with a number of great restaurants (including halal ones!). "

"It’s a great little hotel in a very quiet part of Kyoto. If you wish to get away from all the crowds and just experience how the locals live, this is a hotel for you. We had a room with a private onsen bath, which was just perfect at the end of all the sightseeing. Special thanks to the staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel very comfortable. We also booked a kaiseki dinner at their restaurant (in a sister hotel) Futago. Incredible food and service. I highly recommend you try it if you get a chance. "
