"Our room was very clean. The Tatami beds were extremely comfortable. Access to the hotel’s own hot spring bath was from 0600-2300 hours. We paid an extra 2420 yen per person for a unique traditional Japanese breakfast. The food was amazing. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. I would recommend this Onsen and will visit again"

"We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip and had the most magical time. Visited in July so although hot and humid outside, the AC worked great inside. Loved having our own private onsen and the provided bathroom amenities were quite lovely. Bathrobes, yukatas, slippers, towels, pajamas—everything is provided for guests to wear. And we wore our yukatas a lot! They take care of your shoes and umbrellas at the lobby and then you let them know when you are ready to adventure out for the day so they can prepare your shoes. Hotel in-room bar has a provided nespresso maker and included complementary bottles of wine, beer and fresh fruit juices. One of the best parts of the experience was having the very traditional and high quality breakfast and dinner catered to our room. Multiple course meal with some of the best sashimi, wagyu, eel that I’ve ever had. Truly felt like I was at a Michelin star restaurant that I could comfortably enjoy from my own room. We also tried the Bar Bamboo one evening and had the whole place to ourselves for an after-dinner drink. There is an easily accessible bus stop and Family Mart at the bottom of the hill if you need additional things (insect repellant in the summer is a must here!) I can’t say enough good things about this place. Already thinking about making a return trip."
