Hakone Hotel Guide - Sengokuhara Onsen hotels in Hakone, Japan.

"We had a nice little stay. My kids enjoyed the pool table and the private onsen. We slept Japanese style on the floor with a family of 5. We didn’t have any issues. We enjoyed some adult beverages as well as ate dinner. Dinner is nothing special but it was perfect for us. The staff were amazingly friendly and even spoke English to us. We would for sure stay again! There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel. It about a 15 min bus ride to the Ropeway. It’s also 10 min drive from Yunessun where we stopped on our way home. "

"The rooms and amenities are so clean and amazing. Staff are the most welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The dining- breakfast and dinner selections are great as well. Our second time going here and won’t be the last time. Highly recommended!"

"Very nice stay. Staff was lovely. The room was clean and very spacious. The onsen was absolutely magical. Not many restaurants near by that open past 8 so organize your meals accordingly. Also taxis can be quite difficult to get. Only issue was that the location on Hotels.com was wrong and it took us a while to find it as it isn’t written in English on google maps. But that is a very minor issue. "

"This was recommended to us by our tour guides in Japan and it is a fantastic hotel. The food in the restaurant caters to every background and everything we tried was delicious. The hotel is older but has heritage and a great vibe because of it, and is very clean. The service was excellent as well. I went for a run one morning in the surrounding area and it is very quiet and enjoyable for a morning run or walk. Highly recommended in a very quiet "town" of Hakone."
