Hakone Hotel Guide - Sengokuhara Onsen hotels in Hakone, Japan.

"We had a room with a private bath on the balcony. Our room was very clean and well appointed. My husband and I had separate single beds - not sure if I made a mistake with the booking or if that was standard. The location of the hotel is stunning. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. There was a shuttle bus from the local train station which we didn’t know until a couple of days before our trip. The included teppinyaki dinner was one of our favourite dinners in our whole time in Japan. No tattoos allowed in the public baths, but the private bath was perfect for me. "

"Wonderful stay! The staff was very friendly. They offer so many amenities snacks beer water and even offered hair product free of charge which was great because I had forgotten mine. Everything was above and beyond and the soaking tub was so nice after a day of sight seeing. "

"Great place for a large group or family. Bus stop is right outside, convenience store one bus stop away. It is further away from the touristy areas, but that was what we wanted. Private indoor/outdoor onsen is a plus. They provide all the basics needed for everyday hygiene, and cooking. We definitely enjoyed our stay. "
