"We stayed here mid move and it was lovely. Communication was incredible and the graciousness of hosts was beyond appreciated. Home is very well maintained, our dogs loved the fenced in yard, and everyone had their own space. Thank you for a great experience. "
" This property is managed by a company and although everything was as described it did not initially feel as welcoming and homelike as other homes I have rented. There were two signs in the home warning us of ramifications if we exceeded our registered number of guests. While I understand the importance of this information - it just felt generic and threatening for a "home" stay. There were snacks available and a Keurig coffee maker with lots of options for pods, sweeteners and creamer. This is a nice touch. The deposit/refund process was described well but it is still a little confusing. They take the security deposit after you check out and then it disappears from your account a few days later. The administrator (James) did a great job communicating and answering my questions about this. He was very attentive, patient and professional. The house was clean, roomy and quiet. The beds were comfortable and the linens were of a very nice quality. Some ants appeared in the kitchen on the counter. I kept the area clean and wiped so I'm not sure why they appeared. The home is located very close to the airport on a nice street. However, the surrounding area was a little rough looking and run down - not the most desirable area. I was nervous on the initial drive to the home because it felt like we were traveling through an unsafe part of town. "
After visiting Dorey Park, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Richmond. Stroll along the riverfront or attend a sporting event in the area.
