Top Silent Heroes of the Cold War National Memorial Hotel Reviews
Luxor Hotel and Casino
10/10 Excellent
"Valet staff was personable and remembered my name. Security was helpful when I locked my key in my room. My room was clean and well kept. The cafe food was delicious "
"Pool was awesome with the March madness games playing. But check in was a nightmare. They convinced me to upgrade and then when we got to our room the key didn’t work. My husband went back and forth to the lobby three times and they finally send an engineer to open the door. Even then he needed to wait for security. We had to sit in the hallway for over an hour and a half and finally they gave us a different room. When we got to this other room it was half dirty and we ended up missing out show. Upon leaving, tour buses arrived with over 200 guests, which clogged up the elevators to the rooms. We explained that we needed to get up to our room to pack and leave in the next 20 min and security showed zero concern or hospitality in trying to get us to our room, they looked at us blankly and told us to go to the back of the line. I pleaded with front desk while my husband saved a spot in the line for the elevators. Front desk could do very little, we waited in a line for the elevator for 40min and missed our departure time. Mason from front desk was able to give us credit to set of the cost of rebooking our flight. Outside of these things the rest of the property was great. My husband and I unfortunately started our stay off at the Sahara in stress and subsequently left in the same manner. Definitely a bad taste in our mouths from this place. "
"Room was upgraded with nice amentities. Pool was a blast. A really great vibe from the staff and other guests. We liked the steak house in the hotel- Bugsy & Meyers "
"First experience walking in was the interaction with the salespeople for the timeshare, rude lady. "You didn't read the sign before speaking with me?" WHAT SIGN?!?!?! You approached us, asking if we like food, attractions, and adventures. 1/5
Second interaction was with the luggage drop-off people, 5/5
Self-check-in kiosks were 5/5, such a great addition and smooth and fast process. No longer have to wait in a long line for 2 hours.
Hotel room wasn't fully cleaned. I won't post photos out of respect for the property.
The AC unit started to make an overly loud sound, the maintenance man literally replaced the whole unit in less than 10 minutes. Very kind and friendly.
Walking distance from Allegiant, less than 30 minutes through the Luxor and Mandalay Bay. Worth it for that part.
Took our first Uber from and too the airport. Such great people and service that was provided.
I would stay here again for the convenience of the location to the stadium. If it was for the strip or the opposite side I would stay clear of this hotel. You get what you pay for, ideally.
I wish this hotel had a non-smoking area. The ventilation can be improved, the smoke lingers into the upper level of the rooms from the elevators people smoke inside of. The rooms can be updated, the TV was horrible, the phone' speaker didn't work so I was forced to use that gross phone to call the front desk rather than using my phone they wouldn't allow. The lighting can be improved from yellow to white
"
"It's a good place to stay for one night, but parking is a hustle. Walking into the mall to go the front desk if you do self park isn't for us. $20 parking fee but the room key never worked to go in and out of the garage. "
"The room was disgusting. Everything was dusty, sticky table from spilt drinks, one pillow on each bed, the floor was not cleaned prior, the tub water backed up while showering. I specifically paid for upgraded queen room. "
