Our stay this trip was even more amazing given the opportunity to upgrade to a Pacific room, which includes a higher floor, sweeping view, food privileges and hotel services. "

"Our room was dated and the carpet was extremely dirty. We had to get our own towels as none were in the room when we arrived. No closet. No hooks to hang up towels or clothes. Lots of wear and tear in our room. "

"I enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the Carlton hotel. My room was very nice, comfortable bed, clean, nice decor. The Carlton Hotel is in an excellent location opposite the famous Raffles Hotel. It is close to Raffles City shopping centre, City Hall MRT, streets of small shops, underground arcade that leads to Suntec City. All the staff at the Carlton Hotel were excellent, courteous, helpful and friendly."

"The staff was excellent. The room was clean and bed was comfortable, but the pillows were unusually hard -- I like a firm supportive pillow, but these were not comfortable at all. The hotel is conveniently located -- great Korean coffee shop in the small mall across the street. Also nice area to walk around along the water closeby. I would stay again."

"No hot water in shower day 1. Reported it. Same on day 2. Maintenance apparently did nothing to address it or staff should have changed my room. "
